Were you looking for an inspirational track or did it just fall into your lap by accident JPPT?

I like happenstance mistakes that turn out to be amazing. Like it found you not the other way around.

John Travolta getting his grove on. It's not easy dancing in a suit either. Travolta was always smooth on the floor too. Nice selections as always JPPT!

Be young, foolish, & happy eh? I'm definitely foolish. Catchy tune there. Good hook in there.

"Oh momma, shake your tail feather." LOL!

"Disco Duck" sounds like a song that would be on George Lucas's movie soundtrack to "Howard The Duck."

"Oh Mickey, you're so fine. Hey Mikey."

No matter how many times I hear that intro on the radio, I always sing along like clockwork.

      Great stuff as always JPPT!

I believe "Bette Davis Eyes" is 1 of Jules's sentimental favorites. I could easily see her dancing to this classic at her wedding. A timeless track that never ages.

Too many people slam disco. "If I Can't Have You" is a great track that gets played frequently today because hello it's such a good song. By the time it ends, everybody is getting their jam on man.

Donna was definitely the whole package: Brains, beauty, & that voice...Wow!

It's a shame Miss Summer is gone now. Her "Last Dance" or time on this planet was far too short indeed. It still upsets me that she wasn't inducted into the Rock N Roll HOF before she passed away. That's just wrong on so many levels.

Actually no, I can't really dance. But, Abba's "Dancing Queen" is a very good number. Even if disco isn't your scene, that song is liked by everybody, even those who would never admit that publicly.

Olivia, hit me with some "Xanadu" would ya? Sweet.

Please continue JPPT. I didn't mean to step on your artist toes there. I'll stop now.

That first song 'Every Time We Touch" has a good techno beat to it. Reminds me of 1 of my college Freshmen neighbors back in my dorm days. He'd plays dance clubs tracks like that all the time & he looked like a bouncer too.

"Theme From A Summer Place" is a nice instrumental number. Only problem is every time I hear it, I think of the frat movie "Animal House."

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?! I thought it was the Japanese? Forget it, he's rolling."

Well, there's this famous Sam Cooke song too...

I've leave ya with 1 of my favs that deals with romance even heartbreak...

On the "Prelude To A Kiss" movie soundtrack starring Meg Ryan & Alec Baldwin. Great flick too.

Whoa, I just realized that he sang the theme song for the "Moonlighting" TV show starring Bruce Willis & Cybil Shepard on it.

I have a thing for wise cracking detective programs with catchy jingles on them. I know. Big surprise coming from SW1. LOL!

My condolences to your friends & family sir.

  11. RIP Leon Russell another legend gone!

See if you can ID many of these stars from a 1978 special celebrating CBS 50th anniversary. I ID all but at least three or four I forgot. Keep in mind they are in reverse ABC order! Staring an earlier quiz for May!

8675...3099 it's remarkable how a random number became a catchy chorus line isn't it? Bordering on genius right there. Great selections as always JPPT!

I pay attention to what you post my friend. I just don't always reply immediately that's all. Keep it up!

That "Hustle" song is very catchy JPPT. I've heard it before. I just didn't know who the artist was until now.

An excellent selection my friend! You are a master at disco set lists BTW. :D

I'd add more songs to your status update, but I'm not as well versed in this genre as you.

Has singer Leo Sayer gone through puberty yet? Just Kidding! He can really hit those high notes.

Most male singers couldn't pull that off without how do I say this? An injury in a sensitive area. Nuff said.

Another great choice on your part DJ JPPT.
