In Mexico "The day of the Dead" (Nov 1) is a day for family to gather and pray and remember their loved ones, similar to Spain and Brazil or All Saints Day. It's not a scary or dark holiday, it's a day to honor the dead. I like that, but I also find the macabre thrill of US Halloween to fun. Scary movies, haunted houses, parties. I enjoy both holidays. I enjoy any excuse to have some fun time with family and friends.

I like to go bowling with my family or to stay home and watch movies in the upstairs bedroom with them (sometimes scary movies).
