RIP, the Cars were a great band.

I like it when bands pick easy to remember names. You know, they don't overthink it. Good guitar riffs, solid percussion playing, & choruses that easily get branded into your brain.

The Cars actually made keyboards sound cool & an integral component on records as well as on stage. Not just for Pop stars anymore folks.

      Case in point...

Good stuff that still holds up today.

Who knew all those piano lessons your momma forced you to take would actually pay off later in life? Imagine that. LOL!

I do like that about the genre of Rock N Roll. A lot of average looking frontman to be kind cranking out hits to help the rest of us get our groove on because no one else with confuse us with the handsome devil crowd either. :D

Sorry a little late but that will wrap up 1969. Hope you all got a bit busy to tie you all down until NFL 100th anniversary. I enjoyed putting these up! It is my honor and pleasure!

Hey there JPPT, I always enjoyed "crystal blue persuasion" & "Spinning Wheel" as iconic songs.

I almost wish Carlos Santana would put his fingerprints on those numbers live & make them his own on stage. Santana's wife, Cindy Blackman, is one of the best percussionists in the world too. Santana has a distinctive signature sound that I love & never grow weary of, his band is amazing....

Anyway, wonderful music selections as always.

Yeah, Bryan Adams did crank out smash hits in the 80's & 90's no doubt about it. He's pretty solid on romantic, power ballads too giving Bon Jovi a legitimate run for his money competition wise.

Always glad to see & hear some jukebox classics from you my friend. :hat:
