The heat did warp the motherboard, but hey a working electronic is better than no electronic. The issue is Microsoft mounted the cooling cores right above the GPUs. So after excessive use the solder balls start to deteriorate. They also glued the gpu to the cooling core so when the solder goes bad the gpu starts to get pried off of the motherboard. So you just remelt the solder, and let the gpu settle back down to the motherboard.

Yea Avast is just not compatible with Windows 8 right now. I seen an article on it, written just on the 5th, and a lot of people have this problem. It has something to do with the Windows 8 loading process the Avast program dumps it's files in the wrong folder screwing with the load up.
Even a re-install of Avast after a fresh Windows in-stall has the problem continue. There is a way to fix it, but right now I am just willing to run with the windows defender. The patch doesn...

Crongratz TK. Seriously that is huge. With all do respect to your Mom you need to go there. $24K is A LOT of money! That is my tuition for four semesters. You need to take that money. I wish I took high school more seriously for these type of opportunities. A 2.0 High School student pulling a 3.0+gpa in college doesn't correlate. I didn't care and now it's biting me in the buttux. Yep. Had it for 5 hours, and it crashed. I have no clue what happened. The new "Start" menu was wiped. I couldn't even access the computer settings. Couldn't run their new "refresh PC" setting. Had to do a clean install again. It runs fast, and hopefully I do not run into those problems again.
It would definitely be more convenient if you had touch screen, but a few shortkeys goes a big way. I'll get use to it eventually.

HOLY COW!!!! I haven't played Madden in years!! A buddy of mine had Madden '08. I popped it in, and booooy was that awesome. Pats/Colts. Final score was 26-25 off of a 53 Adam V game winning field goal. I was down 25-17 with 3 minutes to go. Led a 94 yard TD with Peyton, but failed the 2pt conversion. Sling passed it out to Edge, I did some roster editing ;), and got stopped inches of the goal line. Onside kick failed. Pats try to run out the clock, and stopped...

Heard the strongest argument for greatest WR of all-time. "I get Jerry Rice is widely recognized as the best, but I mean he isn't anything only Jerry Rice. Now Hines Ward is above and beyond the rest. I mean he is HINES WARD. Revolutionized the position." I think they might be a little Steeler biased. Jerry Rice is only Jerry Rice, but Hines Ward is HINES WARD. Fantastic argument.
