Yea Avast is just not compatible with Windows 8 right now. I seen an article on it, written just on the 5th, and a lot of people have this problem. It has something to do with the Windows 8 loading process the Avast program dumps it's files in the wrong folder screwing with the load up.

Even a re-install of Avast after a fresh Windows in-stall has the problem continue. There is a way to fix it, but right now I am just willing to run with the windows defender. The patch doesn...

It is strange they aren't compatible. I'm sure it'll be worked out soon.

Sweet picture FX!!! Brian was right. You do have a nice beard. It gives you bravado like a wise & well traveled scholar. Plus, you can stroke your chin & beard to simulate critical thinking & deep, profound thoughts. I do it all the time myself. HA! HA!

  6. I think Microsoft is running a conspiracy. Google Chrome runs extremely slow on Windows 8. For me at least, but I've been living with it for the past couple moths. Decided to test the waters with IE, and it blows Chrome away. I think they want me to use IE. lol

Oh yea I remember why I had to upgrade and (why I shouldn't have)why one day I'll have to upgrade again darn it, because

my old guitar and bass lesson instruction cd's and dvd's wouldn't load in vista because they were

98 and now sooner are later something won't load in something else and I'll have to buy something else and on and on. OK now why didn't I think about that way of making money Huhhh???

Really is great. The Fylers season has been lackluster so far, but they are hanging in there. Only two points out of the playoffs. Last night's game made me believe they can do it. Voracek stepping up for Giroux. Then getting beat down immediately with two goals only to comeback to tie the game with 4 seconds left. Then to finish off the win was amazing.

So sorry to hear about losing 2 of your closest friends in 2008 FX...That must hurt like Hades to this day man...So sorry for your loss...I sincerely mean that FX...When Chi got hurt in the aftermath of your friends accident that must have been devastating...Yes absolutely, leave early, wear seat belts, observe the road rules, & get there in 1 piece. Good advice FX! Chi seemed so easy going...

    3. Fx Stryker

      Fx Stryker

Truly does hurt, but thanks for the kind words SW. Truly appreciated. To this day I'm still trying to get a bass, and Chi is one of the main reasons. Paul Gray, from Slipknot, was another reason. He sadly passed away in 2010. Only thing we can do is rock on in their memory.

If you are talking about average wins, I'd actually guess the AFC South - unless the last couple of years drove that down. Some whine about the Colts having an easy division, but aside from the Texans that simply wasn't true. The Jags and Titans were often very good for years, while the Colts had the best record in the sport.

    4. MAC

Well since you stopped at 2010 (didn't notice, duh), then I guess the AFC South for sure.

      southwest1

Why would Ben Affleck do this when he is such a good film director with films like "The Town" & "Argo?" Is he trying to better relate to actors & actresses when he directors more motion pictures to get the best performance out of them? Maintaining his street cred in Hollywood? Strange...

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Good point Jay! It's like beating a dead horse & then backing up with your car to the finish the job a few more hundred times. Overkill is a very dangerous thing. Let Batman disappear & slumber in darkness & silence for awhile IMO.

  16. Heard the strongest argument for greatest WR of all-time. "I get Jerry Rice is widely recognized as the best, but I mean he isn't anything only Jerry Rice. Now Hines Ward is above and beyond the rest. I mean he is HINES WARD. Revolutionized the position." I think they might be a little Steeler biased. 22. HOLY COW!!!! I haven't played Madden in years!! A buddy of mine had Madden '08. I popped it in, and booooy was that awesome. Pats/Colts. Final score was 26-25 off of a 53 Adam V game winning field goal. I was down 25-17 with 3 minutes to go. Led a 94 yard TD with Peyton, but failed the 2pt conversion. Sling passed it out to Edge, I did some roster editing ;), and got stopped inches of the goal line. Onside kick failed. Pats try to run out the clock, and stopped...
