  1. Wow. Colt McCoy, someone should trade for him. Buffalo, Houston?

Let's wait a few more games. Even Cousins had a stellar start...and now he might fell to No.3 QB.

I still remember when colt got blasted by harrison. one of the worst hits ive ever seen

    4. southwest1

Name recognition wise it works. Colt playing for the Cots as a backup. The commercial endorsements right themselves. Yeah I know 2nd string or 3rd string guys don't get endorsement deals.

  2. Had a tee time for 12. It's a sunny 40 degrees out today. It's a beautiful day to play golf. Only if it didn't snow last night.

The snow has got to go sooner or later right? Like FX said, all you can do is chuckle about it. :) Green grass, golf, & shorts...Eventually, we can break out all 3.

Ah, got out to the practice range yesterday!

Was wonderful to watch the white orb flying through the blue sky!

Luckily we are getting out today! My tee time is 2:15. Here we go

  3. Paul George! HOW DO YOU DO!

GO Pacers! I'm no basketball guru, but I do root for most teams INDY based except when Bo Ryan faces Indiana in college ball anyway. :)

I'm not a big basketball fan either, but I do like me some Paul George. No clue why.

  4. Happy 38th birthday Peyton.

#18 may not literally be 18 anymore, but he plays football with the passion of a young man anyway. Have a nice day Peyton!

  5. So I joined a golf club thinking it's a bunch of guys having some recreational play on the weekends. Nope, real club that competes against other Universities. Oh crud.... I gotta step up my game.

  7. Why every time the Broncos have the 415 game there is a tie, and I miss the opening quarter. But every time the Patriots play they switch right away due to "contractual obligations."

A true enigma that will never be solved in my lifetime FX. It's right up there with what really happened to JFK & where Jimmy Hoffa is really buried. Some things will never ever get a definitive answer.

  9. Adam's streak of 154 games with a point ends today. Did we really need the two pt. conversion?

      Susie Q

The way the game ended they should have let Adam kick. IMO

  11. Watching the last game of Mo at Yankee stadium was extremely emotional, and I'm not even a Yankee fan. I'm afraid of the day Peyton retires.

    1. T Y Goodbye

      T Y Goodbye

I'm a Red Sox fan, but I also know that Mo Rivera is one of the greatest, on and off the field..and he deserved that, and all the other tributes and accolades he's received..That ceremony was awesome..baseball is losing one of its greatest players, and role models..Mo Rivera, will be missed by all baseball fans

    2. Fx Stryker

      southwest1

To take your Christmas day analogy 1 step further FX, it's like disappointment substituted for exhilaration. You think you are gonna get boring, mundane clothes & you are overcome with joy when you tear open your present to find Colts tickets & a brand new XBOX. Translation: 18 stalled on the 1st drive, but he put the offense in overdrive very, very quickly. :)

  14. Ben Affleck will be the new Batman. Ummm, what? WHY?????

    1. Show previous comments  4 more

      Fx Stryker

Well he is the Batman for the Superman/Batman crossover, and probably for the foreseeable future. Probably the Justice League movies.

    3. southwest1

      southwest1

Why would Ben Affleck do this when he is such a good film director with films like "The Town" & "Argo?" Is he trying to better relate to actors & actresses when he directors more motion pictures to get the best performance out of them? Maintaining his street cred in Hollywood? Strange...

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Good point Jay! It's like beating a dead horse & then backing up with your car to the finish the job a few more hundred times. Overkill is a very dangerous thing. Let Batman disappear & slumber in darkness & silence for awhile IMO.

  15. Thoughts and prayers to Derek Wolfe and his family.

  16. I'm not a huge basketball fan, actually would say basketball would probably be 6th/7th on my list. However, I really have enjoyed watching the Pacers the past two seasons. So my question is, why did they trade Kawhi(sp?) Leonard?

    1. southwest1

      southwest1

Sorry buddy, when it comes to baseball, I know very little. Brent, who has a much better grasp on the MLB than me, will probably offer some valuable insight on your Leonard question though. Jay Kirk is pretty well versed in a wide array of sports too.

    2. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

The Pacers wanted George Hill...and wanted Leonard too....I love Leonard's game...love it. Here is an article I found...really good insight FX. :)

I heard yesterday on 3 straight pitches Tigers 1st 3 batters hit home runs, the pitchers 4th pitch of ist inning went right for the head and he was ejected

Imagine throwwing 4 pitches, ist 3 for homers and 4th getting ejected as went after the haed, thats a bad inning

  18. Have you ever wondered who the best division in football was for the past decade? Will the results match the general perception of the toughest division? Will it be the youngest or oldest division? The results may come as a shock. Stay tuned....

    3. MAC

      MAC

If you are talking about average wins, I'd actually guess the AFC South - unless the last couple of years drove that down. Some whine about the Colts having an easy division, but aside from the Texans that simply wasn't true. The Jags and Titans were often very good for years, while the Colts had the best record in the sport.

    4. MAC

      MAC

Well since you stopped at 2010 (didn't notice, duh), then I guess the AFC South for sure.

  19. I think Microsoft is running a conspiracy. Google Chrome runs extremely slow on Windows 8. For me at least, but I've been living with it for the past couple moths. Decided to test the waters with IE, and it blows Chrome away. I think they want me to use IE. lol

    4. Coltsince4

      Coltsince4

Oh yea I remember why I had to upgrade and (why I shouldn't have)why one day I'll have to upgrade again darn it, because

my old guitar and bass lesson instruction cd's and dvd's wouldn't load in vista because they were

98 and now sooner are later something won't load in something else and I'll have to buy something else and on and on. OK now why didn't I think about that way of making money Huhhh???

  20. How many remember Peyton's left handed dump to Edge vs the Vikings? haha, I don't know why, but that is what I woke up thinking about.

The bot 1st was just weird. The Angels didn't even hit a ball out of the infield. It hit 5-0, and you thought it just had to be over. Bamm they hit a grand slam. So strange..

Cool memory regarding Linkin Park there. So sorry to hear about losing 2 of your closest friends in 2008 FX...That must hurt like Hades to this day man...So sorry for your loss...I sincerely mean that FX...When Chi got hurt in the aftermath of your friends accident that must have been devastating...Yes absolutely, leave early, wear seat belts, observe the road rules, & get there in 1 piece. Good advice FX! Chi seemed so easy going...

    3. Fx Stryker

      Fx Stryker

Truly does hurt, but thanks for the kind words SW. Truly appreciated. To this day I'm still trying to get a bass, and Chi is one of the main reasons. Paul Gray, from Slipknot, was another reason. He sadly passed away in 2010. Only thing we can do is rock on in their memory.

    4. Coltsince4

      Coltsince4

Yes, another sad passing of a bass brother, for being a long time bassist myself it always touches a Chord to see them move on.

Really is great. The Fylers season has been lackluster so far, but they are hanging in there. Only two points out of the playoffs. Last night's game made me believe they can do it. Voracek stepping up for Giroux. Then getting beat down immediately with two goals only to comeback to tie the game with 4 seconds left. Then to finish off the win was amazing.
