  2. "If faking an imaginary girlfriend is crime, then half the internet is guilty." - Conan O'Brien. haha Nobody is as good as Conan.

Conan OBrian is my favorite late night comedian. I love how he always jokingly slams his primary nerd, geeky fanbase who are anything but sophisticated ladies men & casanovas. Geeks & nerds run the world not the supermodel, beautiful people.

      Fx Stryker

I know SW. He is my favorite too. He is always making fun of the nerds, but he is one of us. haha

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Exactly FX! Conan is a nerd to his core just like you & me buddy! HA! HA! I really liked his moustache & beard look too. He's not a complete failure with beautiful woman though. Just ask actress Jessica Biel...See attached clip. :)

  3. "You can try and take it - ten year ago someome came with guns, sunglasses suit and tir then took iy from me." Peyton to DT on record touchdown ball. haha the comedy never haults with him.

I am so happy for all the 18 loyalists whose support never wavered or diminished...You all know who you are & I respect that devotion. Kudos my faithful Orange Crush Brothers & Sisters! :D

  4. *Spoilers* sighhh

  5. #1 and #2 going down. Irish will jump to #1. 'Bama might get a chance at the NatChamp game again.

      Crazy crazy day for CFB.

  6. Adam's streak of 154 games with a point ends today. Did we really need the two pt. conversion?

    1. Susie Q

      Susie Q

The way the game ended they should have let Adam kick. IMO

  7. Adrian wanted that record so bad! I kind of feel bad for him. Tried so hard on that run.

That run got them the win and the playoffs.....he is so tough!

      MIColtsFan

soooooo close. I bet they could review the tapes for the season and find those 8 yards! What an amazing commitment! I heard his PT's had to tell him to take it easy and not over do it

  8. Amazing match by Federer.

A great win for Mr. Murray Dan....at home in the Olympics. Kudos to Andy Murray :)

    3. Fx Stryker

      Fx Stryker

It was. I actually missed the match, so I still haven't seen Federer lose. haha Andy got the Olympics and Federer got Wimbledon. Fair trade off I would assume.

    4. Dan

      Dan

Hopefully now Murray can get away from the ridiculous mental block that seems to haunt him at the end of every tournament. Talented player, really lacking in confidence. Has a good record against Federer... except for in Grand Slam finals

  9. Ben Affleck will be the new Batman. Ummm, what? WHY?????

      Fx Stryker

Well he is the Batman for the Superman/Batman crossover, and probably for the foreseeable future. Probably the Justice League movies.

    3. southwest1

      southwest1

Why would Ben Affleck do this when he is such a good film director with films like "The Town" & "Argo?" Is he trying to better relate to actors & actresses when he directors more motion pictures to get the best performance out of them? Maintaining his street cred in Hollywood? Strange...

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Good point Jay! It's like beating a dead horse & then backing up with your car to the finish the job a few more hundred times. Overkill is a very dangerous thing. Let Batman disappear & slumber in darkness & silence for awhile IMO.

  10. Brett Keisel picks a Ravens/Falcons Super Bowl. Interesting. He said they share many similarities in '05 for Jerome retiring and Ray retiring this year.

really wow. I predicted SF begin of season, worried when they switched from Smith to Colin, but that worry seems unfounded, I think SF will reach SB.

it is wierd.. @SW do you mean to debate no thursday football vs. having thursday football? I know many of the players do not like it.

Last night they killed Blitzkrieg Bop. Is that they song they always use? Never really listened to them before.

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

@MCF: Actually, I was just referring to the promotional lead in song "Franchise" on Thursday Night Football, but come to think of it, having football on Sunday, Monday, & now Thursday is just too much if you ask me.

  12. Classic Baltimore footage in a Shula special on CBS.

If I figure out how to add it to the gallery I will.

Brian was so down to earth. When I asked for the photo the security tried to shoo me along, but Brian let me get one. He liked my beard too. haha

    3. southwest1

      southwest1

Sweet picture FX!!! Brian was right. You do have a nice beard. It gives you bravado like a wise & well traveled scholar. Plus, you can stroke your chin & beard to simulate critical thinking & deep, profound thoughts. I do it all the time myself. HA! HA!

      Fx Stryker

I heard yesterday on 3 straight pitches Tigers 1st 3 batters hit home runs, the pitchers 4th pitch of ist inning went right for the head and he was ejected

Imagine throwwing 4 pitches, ist 3 for homers and 4th getting ejected as went after the haed, thats a bad inning

Gotta love a desire to win & a contempt for losing though. All HOF QB's have this quality...

  16. Did Gabbert lose the starting position? Palmer is the Jags starting QB, and they have no injuries for the ame.

He had looked good last week....48-17....ouch.

    3. Fx Stryker

      Fx Stryker

He looked good this week too. NFL messed up the live tracker at first and was using Palmer's name instead of Gabbert. Blaine did start though. If MJD was playing the Jags wouldn't be in too bad of a shape.

The Ravens 2nd team got 21 points in the fourth, yikes.

    4. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Thanks, FX...only got bits and pieces....

  18. Eli says Peyton was a big Twisted Sister fan during the 80s. haha, not bad not bad.

      BrentMc11

I still get Twisted Sister and Quiet Riot mixed up :)

  19. Facebook post of the day, "The Texans cheerleaders are some stallions. Like a mustang, I'm going to whistle at them woot, woot ... Woot, woot!" Texans cheerleaders must be really butch. Do not want.

  20. Hacksaw.....from Ballsohard University. Wonder if he can fill in for Suggs well. haha

  21. Had a tee time for 12. It's a sunny 40 degrees out today. It's a beautiful day to play golf. Only if it didn't snow last night.

The snow has got to go sooner or later right? Like FX said, all you can do is chuckle about it. :) Green grass, golf, & shorts...Eventually, we can break out all 3.

HA! HA! I'm a little slow today on the comprehension. Today is March 11th & the band who sings "Daisy Cutter" is 311. Clever ploy there FX! Making me think on a Monday. Not a good idea. Just Kidding!!!

#18 may not literally be 18 anymore, but he plays football with the passion of a young man anyway. Have a nice day Peyton!

  24. Have you ever wondered who the best division in football was for the past decade? Will the results match the general perception of the toughest division? Will it be the youngest or oldest division? The results may come as a shock. Stay tuned....

    3. MAC

      MAC

If you are talking about average wins, I'd actually guess the AFC South - unless the last couple of years drove that down. Some whine about the Colts having an easy division, but aside from the Texans that simply wasn't true. The Jags and Titans were often very good for years, while the Colts had the best record in the sport.

    4. MAC

      MAC

Well since you stopped at 2010 (didn't notice, duh), then I guess the AFC South for sure.

  25. Heard the strongest argument for greatest WR of all-time. "I get Jerry Rice is widely recognized as the best, but I mean he isn't anything only Jerry Rice. Now Hines Ward is above and beyond the rest. I mean he is HINES WARD. Revolutionized the position." I think they might be a little Steeler biased. Jerry Rice is only Jerry Rice, but Hines Ward is HINES WARD. Fantastic argument.
