  1. TY Hilton says he's slimmed down, cut out the fast food, and he's in "the best shape of his life."
He may very well be, but I think 95% of players say that before every season.

7 Seasons in and a professional athlete who considers himself a team leader decides to finally cut out fast food.  Sorry that is unacceptable in my opinion.

  2. This reeks of homerism.  TY is not in the same league as Odell.  He also is not a beacon of team first mentality.  I would make that trade in a second if Odell if contract situation was equal.  Every time TY celebrates a touchdown when we are down 3 touchdowns and no chance of coming back I vomit a little bit.  I cant stand guys who are happy about personal achievements when your losing.

  3. Its obviously McDaniels and he's already been given the job.  And these cities media are trying to spin all the new coaches that  signed for their cities team turned down the colts and that they were going after somebody else the entire time.  Big city media at its finest.  Colts got their guy for good or bad.

  4. There are only around 1700 NFL players in the world. With the money the NFL makes the players deserve every penny they can get. The owners were having wind fall profits and that is why they must now pay at least 89% of the cap on players.

I would like to see all of these stadium's paid for by the actual team's and not taxpayers.  Let these teams and players pay for the building they work in like everybody else.  Their salaries would look a whole lot different if they were not subsidized by taxpayer money.

  5. I am sure this wont be popular.  But I feel he needs to improve in the red zone before he is worth tier 1 WR money.  He had two TD's last year in the red zone if I remember correctly.  As well as being a liability in run blocking.

  6. http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogergroves/2015/01/11/russell-wilson-likely-to-become-the-nfls-highest-paid-quarterback/

Once this happens I give Seattle two years to come back to the median.  Wilson while a good quarterback will not be able to carry this level of contract and Seattle will bleed the talent that has actually led them to their success.  Some QB's get to to much credit for the teams success (or failure) and Russell Wilson is one of them.  Seeing I hate them more than the patriots at this point (shocking I know) I cant wait for this to happen.

  7. Evidently Duron said this after his visit to the Vikings

“It went really well,” Duron Carter told the newspaper. “I met everybody and it looked really good. I like Minnesota, I like the facilities, I like the coaches and everything. It seems like things are looking up. I would say Minnesota is probably my front-runner right now."

  8. I love these articles.  They weaken teams that are not the colts.  These players (Wilson, Flaco) get so pumped up by the media it hurts the team they are on.  This debate will be settled when Luck and Wilson both get their contracts.  Luck has earned his by carrying a 2-14 team that itself was GUTTED to the playoffs.  Where Wilson was carried by a fantastic defense and run game.  The credit Wilson gets is similar to Flaco (although he is better then Flaco).  But once Seattle signs that much money to Wilson I could almost guarantee Wilson will be regarded as a good quarterback that is overpaid.  And Seattle will go back to the median.  Where luck will come much closer to playing to his contract.

  9. Personally I like what pep wants to do.  We just didn't have the personnel last year to do it.  Hopefully this year it will be a lot better.  But last year it seemed to take Pep a lot of time to adjust during the game when their starting game plan didn't work.  He needs to be better / quicker at making adjustments mid game (1st qtr especially) in my opinion.

  10. On a side thought Pep did have something to do with calling the plays that won those 11 games.

I felt we won many of those games due to abandoning the game plan and putting the ball in lucks hands to create out of chaos.  It looked like the offensive line was not up to the task for Peps game plan.  My beef with pep's play calling was it looked like he was shoving a game plan down the teams throat even though the personnel we had did not fit the scheme.   I also couldn't stand Arians either so maybe I'm just a negative person who shouldn't voice my opinion, but I thought I may as well.

  11. I personally feel his emotions were more than likely involved.  He wanted a child.  His doctor said it wouldn't be a problem.  He decided emotionally to not inquire further and hope it all works out more than likely.  And I cant blame him.  It is just absurd that any employer can deny medical treatment to a employee.  It should be illegal what happened to him in my opinion.  And I am glad he will be able to have the child he wants.  Its just 4 games.

  12. I feel like they consider Holmes the starting center of the future and are not going to overspend on a free agent center.  Personally  I don't disagree with any of the signings so far. But the thought of another year watching the colts run right up the middle into a brick wall all makes me die a little inside.  I wish they had gotten proven talent for the oline and drafted defensively.  Our defense looked its worse in my opinion when the offense couldnt stay on the field.  But I am hoping they know something about Holmes we dont based off his performance in private last year while recovering from injury.
