  1. We went today and my wife couldn't bring in her small purse, so we had to lock it in the car before we could go in. Also, we got autographs at the end of practice. A few players came out to sign, and it really wasn't all that hard to get in to get an autograph. McAfee, Overton, Fleener, Ballard, Viniateri, Whalen, and a few more came out to sign. I didn't see Luck signing today. Fleener had a pretty good sized group around him, but the rest were easy to get to.

  2. I'm fine with small/medium free agents, I don't think many have a problem with that. The price tag for Walden, though. Hopefully very little guaranteed.

    Bob McGinn ‏@BobMcGinn

#Colts began free agency with third-most cap space in the NFL at $37.5M. Erik Walden said the guaranteed portion of his deal was about $4M.

I don't know who Bob McGinn is, but apparently Walden says that only $4 million is guaranteed...makes me feel better.

  3. This isn't the first time people have talked about Andrew's old flip phone.  I'm just wondering how long until the endorsement deals start rolling in?
Hoe long until we get the little flip smartphone so everyone can be like Andrew lol.
  4. 5. i like Pat McAfee but to me he's becoming a overrated Punter and Kickoff man. His kickoffs rarely go through the endzone as i've seen many throughout the Playoffs and when has he drastically changed the field position and put the opposition in a tough spot?
Did you miss his coffin corner punt this year that led to an interception for a TD?
  5. hope the 31 isnt for brown

haha...I'm ashamed to admit it, but yes it is. I was a huge Donald Brown fan when he was at UConn, and was happy to see him come to Indy. Obviously, he hasn't panned out like I thought he would, but he's still not terrible. Indy3117 has been my go to username for fantasy football and other sites for awhile now, so I just kept it. Maybe I should change it to Indy1213 or Indy1287 lol.

  6. You have to designate the player you will bring back. So I think teams have to take into account what the injury is as well as the players talent level. For sure the Colts must have known that having the option of bringing Olsen back was crappy , but it must have been the best of the available options. The rule calls for the player to be out for 6 weeks before he can return to practice and 8 weeks before he can play in a game. So for example Powers could not be brought back as the 8 week waiting period would end his season anyway.

That makes more sense now. Thanks for the explanation, I wasn't aware of the 8 week waiting period to return to play.

  7. I'm only 21, so all I've ever known is the Indianapolis Colts. I enjoy seeing the history about it, but I don't really have any huge feelings about it. I do feel that it is the same team, so the SB still counts. The Pats/Colts rivalry is still the Pats/Colts rivalry, although, I feel it has lost a lot of its muster because it is no longer Manning V Brady. Maybe in a few years it can be a new QB rivalry with Luck V Mallett (I doubt Mallett is their QB of the future though). I've never been to LOS and only went to one game in the Dome. I just don't have the money for it. I would love to go to more, just haven't had the chance to.

  8. a lot of teams send tape into the league office for a variety of reasons (officiating, late hits, etc), however it won't result in a fine. If a fine is handed down, it was going to happen regardless of anything the team sent in. If anything, the tape that teams send in just clues the league on what to maybe watch for going forward. Anything worthy of a fine is brought to the league's attention before anything can ever be sent in from a team, like Suh's groin kick.

    ** my understanding anyway

Thanks for the explanation! That makes sense to me.

  9. I doubt that we will win by such a large margin over the Titans. It seems to be a close game every year, no matter how bad either team is playing otherwise.

Kansas City shouldn't be a tough game because we have been able to stop the run pretty well all season. If we can stop Jamaal Charles, we should have no problems, especially if Brady Quinn is starting.

I think the Detroit game will be close, but I expect it to be pretty high scoring. We have nobody that can stop Megatron.

I don't know what to think about the Texans. We beat them last season with an awful team, so who knows?
