Gave up on him way too quick. One of the best in the league, this year. I can't say I've been overwhelmed with Matt Gay. He definitely changed a few games for us this season.
that seems to be a on going trend with Ballard after releasing talented players smh

Hope you fellow Colts fans are watching what the Texans rookie QB is doing this year because there is a good chance his name is going to cause much grief in the future. At least Brady was not in the AFC South.
lol it was a home game chill..AR still better

Im pretty sure you guys beat us in Lambeau the last time we played and we had a much better QB. I dont think we can take you guys.

Minshew was so inconsistent in his play and missed open receivers often..
That being said, he still is one of the best back up QBs in the league. Colts are going to need a good backup. I wouldn’t be surprised if we only get half a season season out of Richardson consistently.
A lot of people get upset when I say that but let’s see how next year goes. If Richardson plays in more than 10 games, I’ll say I was wrong.
sorry but i would take browning over minshew any day...hes the better back up in my op

Look i'm not trying to start any drama or cause fear..But i'm really concerned that Pittman still hasn't been resigned ...you all have seen what he has been doing lately and hes even on pace for 1000+ yards and yet some how nothing is happening ...i'm really hoping Pittman didn't ask to test the market after this season cause that would be saddening to be honest.. But at the same time i wouldn't be surprised because we have struggled to find a steady starting QB...

shane needs to get creative instead of running up the gut 2 times then pass
minshew getting sacked and fumbling the ball inside the redzone would make any coach switch to conservative mode

hes practically open every other play..minshew just doesn't throw his way for some odd reason...

Carolina needs to take a QB and will be in position to do so.
Also, I don't want to hear he's a rookie, give him some time, and that he doesn't have many weapons non-sense that Herbstreit was saying last night. All of what he said is true however the eyes don't lie here. This guy is not it and that is so evident.
Admit the mistake and move on.
young is far from the problem ..its like i said before..frank is the issue..which is why he always went with veteran QBs when he was here

Which is why we need to wait until the off-season before trashing Ballard. Once you have your QB you really shouldn’t be giving away picks. Now we have the QB we can start doing that:
but do we really have our QB is the question..cause for all we know ..that surgery could change AR for the worst...not trying to sound like a negative nancy ..but it is possible

People expecting a big trade were kidding themselves. We go through this every year and all the time Ballard has been here he’s made one trade at the deadline, last year when he acquired Moss and that was fueled by Hines wanting out.
yes and every year were made to look like *s for not trading ...smh ballard needs to go

Yeah, those rumors plus the rumors of Ballard asking for receivers in return for Taylor, might indicate that we are looking to add WR... Jeudy is definitely a possibility. I still don't know what to think about the chance of Ballard paying not one but two WRs big money next off-season. Just doesn't strike me as Ballard-like...
Colts never received a offer for Taylor..all what you heard from the media were lies...

Again, some Colts fans make my head spin. They think just because Richardson was drafted high, he is automatically a franchise QB and will do great things. Based on what? His college stats? No. His draft position? See Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, Akili Smith, etc. I get tired of this "Minshew is the best backup in the NFL". Minshew is a better NFL QB than Richardson. He always has been and always will be. The #1 attributes an NFL needs to have is the ability to read a defense, process what he is seeing, and deliver the ball accurate. It isn't throwing the ball 70 yards. Or running faster than everyone. Sure, it is helpful if he has a big arm ON TOP of what I mentioned. Or is fast on top of what I mentioned. The ONLY thing I have seen from Richardson is he is fast, has a strong arm, is good at throwing quick, redetermined passes, and gets hurt easily so far. When he has had to try to read a defense and put the ball down field, he is usually WAY off target. Very inaccurate, but that is what he has in college.
For me, Richardson\Minshew is very similar to Lance\Purdy. You can talk all you want about Lance having every physical aspect you want in a QB, but at the end of the day, Purdy is so much better at playing NFL QB. Minshew, to me, it much like Purdy. Not the biggest guy, but throws the ball incredibly accurately and processes quickly. I hope things turn out where Minshew is the starter and Richardson is a backup that comes in on short yardage situations.
The hype on Richardson is annoying. The guy will be 3-17 on 3rd and 4th down, but they will praise him. He will do nothing for 3 quarters than lead a few drives and they say "He put the team on his shoulders". WHAT?? He is the reason they did nothing for 3 quarters. He is too streaky. I hope Minshew does well the next 4 weeks and keeps him on the bench. Because, as I said, Minshew has been and always will be a better NFL QB than Richardson. At some point, you will see that is very clear.
lol i had a good laugh after reading your post..thanks
