  1. For the NFL, that is not the issue. Everyone that shows positive gets retested and analyzed separately, and also given a rapid test too as a follow up in short order, as Chloe has previously stated. The NFL would rather catch every positive case (even if some small amount weren't real) than get a false negative and 'that guy' is asymptomatically spreading it to teammates and coaches while everyone believes he's 'good'. People not in the NFL can be told told to isolate 14 days, even after a (false?) negative test (often they have symptoms too) as a precaution, and getting a retest is a lot mo

  2. These are not mine, but (just some of his) words that have resonated... by Neil deGrasse Tyson - “The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it.” “One of the great challenges in life is knowing enough to think you're right but not enough to know you're wrong” “But you can’t be a scientist if you’re uncomfortable with ignorance, because scientists live at the boundary between what is known and unknown in the cosmos. This is very different from the way journalists portray us. So many articles begin, “Scientists now have to g

  3. This is way over simplification and borderline just silly. Campbell was one of the highest evaluated WRs in the draft. He was I believe tied for 2nd overall by NFL.com, and was tied for 1st best Z/slot WR. All his measurables were off the chart. Taylor was the 2nd best graded RB this year and was considered prototypical for the position. Pittman IIRC was the 1st or 2nd highest graded X. Smith, while played at T instead of G, was a no-brainer from a big time school who ran the ball a ton and produced some great OL talent. Those are our top 3 round picks for O. None of t

  5. He also threw a dime to Pascal two weeks ago, as well as a few perfect passes on sail routes to Mo. He's never had a cannon. He's always been statue. He's always had INT issues. Is his arm strength declining? IDK, but he's still hitting several throws that would suggest he's still the same guy.

  9. Buckner said in his latest interview that the DLine is still getting used to each other. As a whole, this team is a work in progress: Rivers timing with the receivers Taylor’s timing with the Oline Dline getting used to playing together Things always look worse, after a loss. Give it time, we’re going to be okay.

  15. Sunday 10/18/20 vs. the Bengals will be Rivers 230th consecutive start and he will be now 67 consecutive starts behind Brett Favre's all time record of 297.(Including the playoffs it will be Rivers 241st consecutive start which also 2nd all time, and 80 behind Favre's total record of 321).

  18. Wait a second. A few weeks ago, Rivers was leading the league in completion percentage (he's currently 6th behind Carr, Bridgewater, Wilson, Goff, and Brees). He's currently 12th in the league in YPA (Brissett finished 29th in 2019). And after 1 bad half against the Browns on the road, people are seriously ready to jettison him and start a rookie who played 1 full season as a CFB starter? The pick 6 was atrocious. I get it. But c'mon man. If Rivers has 2 games (4 full halves) of looking like he did for that bad half in Cleveland, then I'm open

  19. Cool video but I’m sure Myles G had the last laugh had 1 sack but literally controlled the LOS single handedly and completely wrecked the entire game making our highly touted o line look junior high

  20. They don't scare anyone that's for sure. Pretty much just game plan on stopping Taylor stacking the box and getting some pressure on Rivers to force him into errors seems to be the trick. Colts seem built on playing with a lead. We'll see how they do against the Bengals. Heck if they can pull out a win, which they should they'll still be 4-2. I would like to see some accurate passing downfield and no turnovers.

  21. This guy is just bad. We have almost 50 million dollars wrapped in QB’s and we don’t have a QB. There’s no reasoning behind it. No justification. No let’s wait and see. He’s awful. Another bad season that leads to a mid first round pick, assuming we don’t trade it for 2 other mediocre picks.

  22. Probably one of the most exasperating things about a loss is the knee jerk reactions from fans and media: Bench Rivers! Get rid of Reich! Fire Ballard! Get a FA receiver! Anybody! etc, etc Everybody has a right to their opinion and to be fair, you have to look at what went wrong to be totally objective. Which brings me to Reich’s conference call, which I thought touched on accountability, bright spots and issues that have to be addressed. The end result for me, was the hope that the Colts can play/coach better and they have the confidence t

  23. Why? All he does is make plays when it comes his way. I get you might want to see more Fountain or Patmon, but Johnson does his thing whenever given the opportunity.

  25. Having no offseason mini camp, OTAs, and preseason games really hurt Eason. Not that he was a slam dunk to be our franchise Quarterback anyway. The league knew he was a project, scouts knew he was a project, and Ballard knew he was a project. You just can't throw in a rookie project Quarterback and expect him to become solid. I'm thinking its more likely than not Sam Darnold will be a Colt either this year or in the offseason. The Jets and Colts have a business history of making deals and Darnold needs to get out of New York asap. I was watching that Broncos and Jets game before he

  26. I hope the Colts lock it down to stop any spread. They can gain a big advantage if they can be one of the teams without an outbreak. Teams will essentially lose their planned bye weeks and have to adjust their schedules creating more short weeks.

  29. Good point, pooled testing. positive result, retest all separately. {Potential reagent contamination. etc...} I'm sure they would rather have a false + and retest rather than get infected players testing negative.

He doesn’t pancake him or even bring him to the ground. But still nelson did seal him off and made a lane for the rb

  33. We could very well still go 11-5 with Rivers, if we do I already have about 10 people that I am ready to have fun with . When we lose, this place is mind boggling.

  36. Nah, let's kill this thought with sticks and fire. When Pagano was brought in, the exact thought was he'd bring that fire-in-your-belly Baltimore style. We know how that went. It's not about who can yell loudest. There're different styles of communication. Bill Belichick is the greatest coach ever, he's not exactly a yeller. Andy Reid is possibly the greatest offensive mind in the game now....he's no yeller.

  37. I hear you but you're dreaming. JB can throw 10 yards? Right. That's why Colts fans were ready to drive him to the nearest airport and get him out of town asap. The saying goes...when there's trouble, the backup is the most popular man in town. Even 18 and 12 (not often) had backup questions arise especially 12. Jacoby Brissett is worse than Rivers. Backup LT. Sure. But how many teams have quality BACKUP left tackles or heck even starters? It is a tough position to stack deep. There's a reason most Colts fans waited with clenched butt cheeks when Castonzo said he was c

  38. For me, Reich earned a lifetime contract in his first year when he went for the win over the tie in overtime against the Texans, which failed and we lost...20 years of elite QB play watching us pooch punt on 4th and 1 from the opponent's 39, pulling starters once we had a bye and coming out flat in the playoffs, basically coaching scared got a little old to me...I know Doug Pederson's star isn't high right now, but he had the best quote I've ever heard about football..."Playing not to lose is a good way to go 8-8" I think we're an exceptionally well run franchise, which actually ki

  40. It could be a case of too where the Chargers had such a high pick that they just wanted to move on. They knew they were going to be able to get a QB to their liking and just rebuild. Like with us letting Peyton go, it was much easier knowing Luck was coming in.
