  1. Your Indianapolis Colts look to extend their win streak when they travel to Chicago to play the undefeated Bears on Sunday afternoon. The Colts have a 2-1 record after back to back wins against the Vikings and the Jets. They stand in 2nd place in their division behind the Tennessee Titans who are idle this week. The Colts defense has given up the fewest points (45) in the NFL through three games. Will that continue against the Bears who will be starting Nick Foles, not Michell Trubisky, at quarterback? We shall see. This game was originally scheduled for 1pm ET, but it has been m

  2. Perhaps it is because Chicago's defense is pretty good.

  4. This was probably the best batch of Colts Mailbag questions yet. Thanks so much. Lots covered this week, including why I'm not going to worry about Jonathan Taylor's YPC average just yet, the latest on every Colts player currently on IR or the PUP list, how to implement Jack Doyle, Trey Burton & Mo Alie-Cox at the TE position, why Indy is struggling on third down and much, much more. 5. 19-3, people will still complain about this or that . Who cares! Winning is all that matters. 19-3 isn't even a close game either. We just need to work on TD's instead of getting FG's. Teams that start 3-1 make the playoffs 70% of the time in NFL history. Hats off to our defense

  6. So weird relying on a colts D........I'm not used to this ......

  7. Why would he throw it and stop the clock? Taking that sack was the right thing to do. Ticked an additional 40 seconds off the clock so Bears didn't have time remaining.

  8. So tired of running Hines between the Ts in the RZ.

  9. I just hope we win this one and win the ones we are expected to win. Covid is starting to rear it's head in the league and I'm already reading articles about a possible shortened season to 12 games. We need to win these early games like many expect us to. Every win is going to be magnified now. I hope we get a streak going. Time is of the essence.

  10. Run the ball. Pick off Nick. Silence the doubters. Beat the Bears.

  11. pretty sure no one thinks a mask will make you immune to getting the virus they are just supposed to help

  12. The Bears were 3-0 coming into this game. It's not like we didn't beat a pretty good team. I am not going to rag on this team. They did control that game.

  16. To be fair not turning the ball over has been huge. In a defensive struggle like this, can't turn the ball over.

  19. I love how when it isn’t Rivers fault half of this forum calls for his head and loses their minds. If he chucks the ball to a defender it’s different than it bouncing/tipping off a receivers hands. Freaking settle down.

  20. He was out of bounds. We should get the ball back.

  21. That last sentence - you sure about that? There is a hole in the nfl testing procedures in the incubation period of the virus. Someone exposed to the virus may not test positive for a few days.

  24. Everyone reacts differently. I know people who have had in the early summer and still have lingering problems. They are 30 ish in age as well.

  25. Man, we ain't building rockets here. The concept is simple - if you put a barrier between the outlets that produce the droplets that carry the virus, it reduces the transmission. It is not full proof but significantly reduces spread. Arguing otherwise seems kind of clueless. In other words, masks do in fact do jack squat.

  27. The bears have a great defense and we do too. We should be proud we won a defensive battle like that. Taylors vision and patience is getting better. Very much improved this game.

  33. I knew ishould have mentioned molecule size (aeronautical engineering major) but i assumed you would get the picture. Bottom line is, SOME molecules will stick, REDUCING the amountspread. Come on, youknow this . Its not rocket science, which actually, i could also explain if needed. The ONLY medical professionals that will contradict that masks, any masks, help reduce transmission are those being told to contradict it. Or they got their medical degree ina cracker jack box. And actually, the military specifies everything, even commonsense things. Like making a bed, shining s

  35. I’m gonna start by saying I’m okay with mask wearing and do when out in town or around non family. that said, my unit was briefed in April that they weren’t able to confirm that any masks outside of our M40s series would actually work to slow or stop the spread of anything. So please, tell me how a cut up t-shirt or a scarf or a a couple layers of cotton will guarantee reduce it? so why do I wear one? Well, honestly it’s mostly just so I don’t have to deal with anyone judging or getting bent out of shape over not wearing it. Do I think that a piece of clothe is go

  36. The concept that being forced to wear a mask infringes peoples human rights and their ‘freedom’ is up there with people who believed Curtis Painter was a good QB. Those that think maskS ‘do jack squat’ have the intellect of a gnat. And I am being kind.

  37. Keeping this short, viral load is the key. The lower (less virus particles) you take in, the less ill you will get. There are many ways to reduce the viral load... we've heard them. the farther away from someone, the less you get (social/physical distancing). If they wear a mask, you get less. If you wear a mask, you still get less (varies by mask type/construction, but all stop most droplets, less effective but still filters aerosols. If both wear a mask both could get way less, etc... it's proven in the science, and I've listed all of the science links in a post above. Anothe
