  1. Dear Jim, Please be safe. Avoid people as much as possible. At your age, and with some of the underlying conditions i believe you have, i am very worried about you. I feel you have done much to bring me happiness thru a great product you have put together. It would break my heart if you got this virus and suffered, or worse. I consider you a friend even tho i never met you and this team and i , for that matter, need you leading this ship. Caringly, A devoted fan.

  5. ^^^ Isn't it amazing what can be achieved when one actually reads another poster's comments? That's not my stance. Earlier in this thread: Another thread: I don't see Rivers as a solution to any of our problems. Another thread: If we sign him, I'm on board. Just skeptical. Another thread: He's a good fit. I can see this working well. But I have some concern about his ability to play at a high level, given his age and recent history. Anyone acting like I've been out here cheerleadi

  6. Best owner in the league as far as I am concerned. I hope we have at least 10 more years of him as Colts owner.

  8. I personally try to never come on a topic that I was right about and be like, "I told you so". It happens a lot around here(where posters do that, not something I was right about, lol), and this isn't directed at any 1 person. To each their own. It's just not my style. Have I done it, sure, but I truly try and make a concerted effort to not be a "I told you soer". I made a post in a thread and @NewColtsFan responded and gave me the facts. I looked into it, and was quick to come back and admit I was wrong. Like I said, I just ta

  10. I guess Aaron will have more time to focus on football this season! https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/29477065/danica-patrick-aaron-rodgers-no-longer-together If you need any company to comfort you during this time Danica just send me a message!

  11. How does everyone feel about this. I'm going to miss not seeing some players play. I looked forward to seeing Eason and Kelly play. it doesn't tell you everything, but it is nice to take a look.

  12. I guess he's fast (4.28 40 at the combine) and now we find out he can also bowl strikes between his legs. I'm curious how the bowling will translate into Ws on the field...

  13. As long as he doesn’t end up like Laron Landry, turned himself into the hulk with no football skills

  14. If Americans were as diligent as European countries in limiting risk to spread, we'd have no issue having a season.... Futbol seems to be doing fine.

  16. Deano wore #4 tho. https://www.sportsmemorabilia.com/dean-biasucci-autographed-football-card-indianapolis-colts-1990-pro-set-number-129/p-10415926 Maybe go with Josh Freeman (or Kerry Collins, Quan Bray) at #5? I'd take Anthony Gonzalez over JG This will go to Braden Smith in the next season or two. Great list, thanks for putting it together!

  18. Bro, why is it against the law to speak about football players, teams and decisions made by teams? If I don't agree with said player, and I say you know what, instead of calling someone anything but their name, I'll just wait mid way through the season and see if said player works out. But not this forum, if you tell anyone to keep their pick, I'll revisit halfway through to see if you are right, why is that criminal? Lol I know why. Anyways I've given posters too much attention. Don't worry, I won't remind anyone about anything if that makes you feel better

  21. This conversation is starting to sound like the team has depth at a couple positions that were thin not long ago.
    1 point
  22. It depends on the player and position. I assume they have some people in ink already (the QBs, the O-Line, the LBers), while there are other positions that will have battles for starting jobs (secondary, WR, TE). At this point, with a limited or no preseason, most of training camp will probably just decide who makes the team and the younger players will have to earn a starting job through playing time (which will be harder to do). Beat me to it by seconds.

  23. A chance, yes. Not as much as most years though. With no preseason games, I bet most coaches keep last years lineup if possible.

  26. Actually moving Rhodes to SS in Nickel might be a strong consideration. I hadn’t really thought about moving him from where he’s played his whole career but since his athleticism has gone down a little bit and he’s been so bad outside the last two years, having him man up against TEs could be just what his career needs. I liked what Willis showed but he was so bad in coverage that I am really not counting on him to be more than a base package box safety.

  27. As it should be. Tell took some lumps...but do did Rock...and by many metrics...Tell was better than Rock last year. He should have stayed as a starter when Desir returned...but I guess they wanted to give Desir the benefit of the doubt and give him a chance to earn a spot next year. Makes sense...but it would have been nice for Tell to get those snaps...especially since they released Desir anyways. But going into next season...Tell definitely deserves a shot at competing for both spots.

  28. Good. Its hard to convey tone sometimes with written words. same goes for texting. I get “are you mad?” All the time when texting. I think i try to cut down the number of words and it comes across are overly direct. i’m a pretty laid-back guy. But i am rather opinionated. Haha

  29. After thinking about it I think Hooker will be my pick as the #1. His option was not picked up and he definitely will have to prove himself to get another contract.

  32. I know people won’t think so but with covid I think it’s important to keep all 4 QB. Imagine if Brissett and Rivers couldn’t play a game because of covid. Everything is so weird would it really be surprising if Eason or Kelly actually had to play a game. Everything is so unknown right now. One of them will be on the PS.

  33. I won’t say there weren’t some second guessers in the media, I’m sure there were. But I think the biggest group of second guessers were right here on this website. And it’s always been that way here. And it won’t change much. It’s the nature of fandom.... just sayin..

  37. I still like the prospect of Ya Sin and Tell on the outside (2021 with more seasoning) with Rhodes converted to Safety (ala Ronnie Lott, Rod Woodson or Charles Woodson did back in the day) and Kenny Moore in the slot! I could get behind that kind of secondary......

  42. The cap could drop 60 million next year. Lots of players could be without jobs. I actually think there could be a good chance Eason is actually the starter in 2021. We may not be able to even bring rivers back. Tv revenues go down cap could go down even more.

  47. I didn't miss the point, it's just not a valid point. There are way more QBs taken in the first round that are not successful than 1st round QBs that are successful. And if the FO does a good job of analyzing what they need from a QB and finding the QB that fits that then successful QBs can be found in any round. Also your list of successful is somewhat questionable with Goff, Wentz and Tannehill on the list. Goff did not look good this year, Went is up and down and you can't consider guys like Tannehill and Bridgewater successful draft picks because they no longer play for the
