Braveheart here. I don't use full caps. Or upper / lower case. I use silky narrative and precise dialogue. Sarcasm I use not, and I am also a black belt at Yoda.12 points

There is nothing to it. It was a response to the throwing challenge. No other meaning7 points

He meant 'you took my worst rep and posted it on Twitter, show the good reps, too!' And it was a lighthearted comment. There's nothing to see here. Except QBs throwing footballs.4 points

I understand the Season has not gone as planned but the recent VIBES in this Org has me PUMPED! It’s TIME for the LUKE to get back to a real home field advantage and the fans to unleash 5 yrs of built up FRUSTRATION on the Opponent! I dream of the RCA dome days but that may never be again. RISE UP COLTS NATION, Let’s join together & turn this SEASON around NOW. #inluckwetrust3 points

He had the worst throw in the throwing challenge and they posted it online. He probably was just joking and giving the Colts media poster a hard time.3 points

It’s been said a million times, but this upcoming D-Line class is insane. You have -Ed Oliver -Jeffrey Simmons -Quinnen Williams (if you believe the hype) -Raekwon Davis -Jerry Tillery -Dre’mont Jones -Derrick Brown -Rashan Gary -Gerald Willis III We have 2 2nd round picks. I think we should take a DT in round 1 and get another one in the 2nd. Imagine having Simmons and Tillery on the line for example.2 points

For a team that missed the playoffs last year and has been largely mediocre for the past 20 years, the amount of primetime games on their schedule this year is something: Week 1: @Panthers, 4:25PM FOX Game Week 2: vs. Giants, SNF Week 3: @Seahawks, 4:25PM FOX Game Week 5: @Texans, SNF Week 6: vs. Jaguars, 4:25PM CBS Game Week 7: @Redskins, 4:25PM CBS Game Week 9: vs. Titans, MNF Week 10: @Eagles, SNF Week 12: vs. Redskins, Thanksgiving Game Week 13: vs. Saints, TNF Week 14: vs. Eagles, 4:25PM FOX Game I know the 4:25PM g2 points

My team is really only interested in scoring either 200 points, or like 115 points. The ol’ Desean Jackson of fantasy teams2 points

Honestly, I don't even see Ed Oliver as the top DT in the draft anymore. I'd rather have Simmons, Davis, or Tillery.2 points

I should have more confidence in Luck's corner fade toss apparently. I'm never a fan of that call, but Luck can drop it right on the money. He's pretty good, huh? JB probably got one in too and didn't get any love from the edit.2 points

Our depth is better than most. Hang, Good , and Clark are not starting material, but they are fine backups. Hopefully we won’t have to use them much this year, and hopefully that drives them to get better. With that being said, this week will be a real test for our o line. I have a feeling they will struggle a lot.2 points

I'm with ya man. Several of the games haven't even been sellouts this year. Time to get the stadium packed again and go from there. I have accepted the fact that the playoffs are likely out of reach this season. Because I'm at peace with that likely reality, I'm looking forward to watching the young talent improve. I'm looking forward to witnessing Luck become an even better QB. And I cannot wait for Luck to shred Jalen Ramsey. Lucas Oil Stadium. The "Luke" being short for Lucas.2 points

Completely understandable, I’m more hopeful that Hooker plays this weekend. He was missed at Oakland...2 points

I disagree. You don't have to grow up here to appreciate what were about. I know tons of transplants that moved here and love it. They have terrible form on jump shots though2 points

Even in a perfect world, where no players are injured ANYWHERE in the NFL, there are not 300 quality offensive lineman to stock 32 NFL rosters. Each team wants 9-10 quality guys. Roughly 300. Those guys don't exist. Now you compound things by it's half-way through the season and you have lots and lots of injured players.... there just aren't enough quality O-lineman to go around. Right now, we're the hot O-line team. We're the flavor of the month, so to speak. So, everyone is looking to us to see if maybe we have an eye for good talent. Nice for us --2 points

I thought maybe Jalen Ramsey had said something again....but he’s been a little “quite” lately. Hehehe2 points

I confess, when I saw the title of this thread, I thought...... Motivation? Who needs motivation for this game?!? Then I read your actual post and was pleasantly surprised. I was furious with Pagano for letting Brissett stay on and absorb those 10 sacks. I know it was actually Brissett’s idea to stay in and finish, but I thought Pags needed to put his foot down and protect JB from himself. Plus the team couldn’t afford to lose JB to injury. Still... yours is a very good idea. Watch those 10 sacks on a continuous loop. Then watch it again!2 points

If im Frank Reich, I am forcing the olinemen to sit and watch every hit and every one of the ten sacks the jags got on us before the game to get them rev'ed up. I doubt Andrew gets touched after watching that.1 point

So I won't watch the game and you will be attending the game. How can we lose?!? Woot woot!!1 point

Yes. No where in the Tampa 2/Cover 2 history has a shut down corner ever been required. They dont shadow the #1 WR. They don't need to be constantly in press coverage. Its the Safeties that matter most in the secondary. Ballard/Eberflus will need a Warren Sapp/Freeney/Mathis type player or a replacement for Geathers before they'll take a CB in the very early draft. You're going to see a revolving door at CB like we did during Dungy's time1 point

At least the Patriots getting primetime games is rooted in them actually being good. I know the Cowboys play the AFC East next year (they play the Patriots and Jets away, host the Bills and Dolphins), so you can be assured that Cowboys/Patriots will be the 4:25PM FOX game, if not SNF, and I wouldn't rule out one of the other AFC East games being an MNF game as well.1 point

We probably have to win the Division to get in and the way Houston keeps getting lucky every week, it won't probably happen. Chargers and Bengals will get in as Wildcards more than likely. Bengals have the tiebreaker over us and are 5-3 right now. I can still see us finishing 9-7 though and making it interesting. On a side note, there are 12 teams that either have a worse record than us or the same record. We are alot better than people thought we would be. Many picked us to be the worst team in the league and maybe only winning 2-5 games.1 point

Okay, I know this place gets in your blood and it's hard to leave for most. I'm not saying it's the best place I'm just saying it's home and that means everything to me I will never leave. I could write a book about what it was like growing up here and I think it would sell. Yes, not having good form on a jump shot shouldn't be allowed here because when I was very young I had terrible form but I taught myself to shoot the right way with hours of practice every day.1 point

I know I love this state and proud to be a Hoosier. It always nice when our pro athletes fall in love with it to like Reggie Miller did. But they'll never truly understand what it means to be a Hoosier because they didn't grow up here but it's still nice.1 point

Plus, after the refs gave the Pats a first down on that bogus personal foul/roughing the kicker call I knew no matter what the Packers did the league was not going to let them win the game, so I quit watching.1 point

The same people saying CB isn’t a premium position are the same people who said OG wasn’t a premium position. Ballard has his philosophies, but he will take ANY position if it’s a premium player and the board falls in their favor.1 point

No, he is too chicken to go outside his cushy comfort zone of Belichick and Brady. I will believe it when I see it. You can't say "it was because of family, blah, blah, blah..." and then turn around and accept a job offer a year later. Did his family's needs change over a year or what? While it is his prerogative, I really really doubt that happens.1 point

@BPindy and your PFs are only going to be about 10 points apart this week. Could come down to that with you two for the 2nd in the division. Unless of course @Lucky Colts Fan wants to continue streaking...1 point

Think about what you said in your quote above. Remember Ed is playing next to inferior talent than what Williams is and is also playing as a 1-tech NT in UH's 3-4 front, at 285 lbs mind you, which is beyond mind-boggling. AND he's still been disruptive against double and triple teams. Again, once he goes through the combine and shows off his strength and athleticism at his size, and he'll test better than the majority of LB's, he'll solidify his top-2 status.1 point

I appreciate everyone's input, thank you. My biggest gripe with this ranking is the magnitude of those 4 sacks....those 3 fumbles caused and the 2 recoveries when LVE has none. Not too mention the tackles for loss......Momentum changing and/or game changing plays have to weigh heavier than simply stuffing the stat sheet with tackles. And I'm sorry to the poster who said unblocked sacks - while he may not have been touched he certainly timed his delayed blitzes well = great instincts..... I have watched zero Cowboys games but we've all seen DL in the backfiel1 point

I'd use Hunt for the 5-technique with his long arms, to be honest in a 4-3 under front: https://www.fieldgulls.com/football-breakdowns/2013/5/31/4382318/the-seahawks-and-the-4-3-under-front-winds-of-change This will help us not necessarily have all 1-gappers and maximize what we have, IMO. It will help us have a LEO that will make it seem like a 5-man front but can be used for occasional blitzing to generate pressure. We don't have the LBs the caliber that the Seahawks used to have but we can use a safety instead that is more stout in run D than in pass coverage to be o1 point

I resent you saying that some of us are not Colt fans. The same thing can be said of you because you refuse to trust the system that Ballard has in place. Your wanting instant gratification means zero. Just because Ballard isn't doing what you want now you want to whine about it? You want some cheese?1 point

Or they could turn out to be Andre Johnson. I have no problem spending money in free agency if you have the right guy targeted but just spending money because you can is never a good idea.1 point
