On today’s Moving The Chains on Sirius XM, Pat Kirwin (whom I respect very much) said, if Quento Nelson is there at six, “The Colts would be crazy to pass on Quenton Nelson.” He then went on to critique all of the ways that Quenton Nelson would improve pretty much every facet of the Colts” offense. I concur. Finish fixing the OL if he’s there for the taking!5 points

I include only the Colts picks, but you can go see the full mock here: http://draftanalyst.com/mock-draft-april-17 This has to be one of my favorite mocks for the Colts, although I would have probably preferred other RB and LB at 49 and 67... but still... pretty good haul IMO. He got my favorite DE, my favorite WR, my favorite OT... I'd be ecstatic with this draft.4 points

He played in the 2nd game because the Colts had no other bodies to put out there.3 points

Not sure about 7 rounds for me, I have just been guessing at players since we left Round 2!!3 points

I'm actually kind of intrigued by Basham. He started to show up towards the end of the season last year, and Eberflus' scheme is more of a natural fit for him, so he could be a dark horse for most improved from the 2017 draft class.3 points

(Via PM) @crestmount and the Bengals Select: Simmie Cobbs Jr, WR, Indiana That concludes Round 3, Round 4 will be up shortly!3 points

So you don't think players should earn their playing time? You think it should just be given to them based on potential and draft position?3 points

Glad to see Rizzo is back. Rizzo thinks the season should be shortened, I agree with him. Baseball should always be played in great weather. Why not shorten it and opening day be on May 1st and the last day be on like September 15th. Just keep the Playoffs the same. The season would always end before November starts. Maybe have like a 130 game schedule?? Rizzo even said he would take a paycut if the league would agree to that. All the Players would have to agree to it though because it would be a money issue if they cut out 32 games.3 points

HMM I don't joke about that!!! Now back to our regularly scheduled arctic series3 points

I'll never apologize for bashing the last regime, especially in Wilson's case. Good, young corners don't grow on trees in this league, and I still believe that letting him play through some of that stuff and learning through real-game scenarios would've been very beneficial to his development, but it's water under the bridge now.3 points

To all who trashed Pagano and our former DC over the handling of Quincy Wilson..,,, Your apologies will be accepted right here...3 points

If Hill and Korver cant go full speed.....they are liabilities on defense.... WE are 100% healthy and on 2 days rest for the veterans.. I expect LeBron to score 35-40...and I also expect the Pacers to win.... (and even if I'm wrong, I'd bet the Pacers will cover the +8)2 points

Once the air was cleared, it went back to normal, so I think that just kinda shows the maturity of some folks around here.2 points

Brother I just hope both teams get through these games with no bad injuries2 points

Was throwing 102 consistent with control in this cold2 points

An injury risk? He wasnt a bad pick - he was very productive. When healthy. Coryatt is an easy target now but people forget he had really good years before he got hurt. Nobody can predict injuries. It’s no different than saying Emtman was a bad pick. No, he was the exact right pick who simply had horrific injury luck. And as it turned out, no player at the top of that 92 draft was really exceptional and I don’t believe there is a single hall of famer from that entire draft either - yet. A bad year for the Colts to have the top two picks. But I’d argue the Colts have had worse drafts.2 points

Sorry, the sketch is not of Brady as the guy in the sketch is much better looking. That's why Brady helped the Pats got rid of Jimmy G. Couldn't handle being the 2nd best looking qb on the team.2 points
-
Yeah there is an article on the ESPN website about it. It's mainly because of the weather. I do also think the players would stay more healthy if it was shortened. We would probably see a better product. I get what you are saying though, I love Baseball and could watch all year2 points
-
I did not hear or read what he said. Is it because of the weather that he wants the season shortened? Or does he have other reasons. I love having April baseball but that is because I don't follow hockey or basketball.2 points

we may still land chubb or barkley. hard to say, i dont think many people thought we would get hooker last year smith isnt my favorite, im hoping for one of barkley, chubb, nelson or edmunds. i wasnt sure about a guard at #3, but he doesnt sound bad to me at 6 after getting three second round picks in the trade2 points

I think its more akin to "I didnt know what questions to ask, so I asked none." Now its "I dont know what questions to ask, so I need to find out what I dont know." This happens to a lot of people in new situations.2 points
