  1. Need a significant move just to be a 500 team .Frank is out coached nearly every other week his Defense and Oline is middle road his WR group has no number one who can dominate a game our vaunted Oline has been * poor .I am very disappointed in the lack of urgency with this owner and GM .I see this colts team as little more than a tease and not a great one at that .This team should be in alllllll in mode but nope they just sleep walk through the trade deadline so far .You guys will murder me for this post but I’m sick of this I’m out until I hear this team actually cares about making a run .La

  3. I can still see him waving “I’m open!” In the end zone at SB3, while Morrall was throwing the game. RIP Jimmy.

  5. So you're out on the team you were only in on because Rivers came here? Ok, go back to the Chargers and root for Herbert. I'm sure they'll welcome you back with open arms... unless you ruined your relationship with that fanbase. lol!

  7. Yup. Same type of person who would gamble their last dollar to “strike it rich” instead of feeding their family. We all need to read our posts “one more time” before we post. ... like someone else we know. Haha

  9. I’m a Ravens fan, but still also a Baltimore Colt fan. I had to change with the times also, but the Indy Colts is a fine organization, with their own great history. There are plenty of other things to mutually dislike like Pittsburgh and New England. KC may soon be joining that list.

  11. Lemme post something absolutely stupid and cry for attention while saying I’m out but I’ll be back when things change. Go “root” for another team. I hear Tampa likes bandwagon fans.

  14. No interest in long term sustainability....... Double mortgage the farm now! For who? The primary missing piece is the qb........and you named your profile after him and the very thing you think he's incapable of going on (unless you literally mean "running" in which case we all agree). This post is awesome on so many levels! Remember, if Rivers does go on a run you're not allowed to enjoy it. Sit it out bro.

  15. I was born in Baltimore Women’s Hospital in 1954. The 58 game was on my parents 9” black and white tv in what must have been a 5’ console. I was in high school in Southern York Co Pa as the Colts, Orioles, and Bullets were successful. Colts were World Champs in 71, after losing SB III in 68. Orioles won World Series in 66 and 70, and League Champs or Division Champs in 69, 70, 71, 73, and 74. I watched Johnny U’s last TD pass in a Colts uniform in person. In that area at age 15-20, were great times! I’ve got a brick from Memorial Stadium as a souvenir. I moved to Indy in 198

  20. This the same Jim Harbaugh that got smacked by Florida in the bowl game last year and hasn’t even gotten his team to a Big 10 championship game appearance (including getting beaten out by Northwestern one year)? Asking for a friend...

  21. You're still goofy. The "greatest game ever played," was the 1958 championship. ;)

  22. Lions are bottom 10 vs the run, and not very good vs the pass either. I have no clue what we'll do.

  23. I have noticed Jim has posted regularly when any Baltimore Colt has passed away, the last couple of years. To know about Orrsville, he must really be studying on the history of the Colts. Besides the banners , the other split history is Baltimore having the old Baltimore Colts numbers in their Ring of Honor at Raven’s stadium , while they are not in Indy. Indy doesn’t generally give out those retired Baltimore Colt numbers to current Indy Colts , but oddly gave John Mackey’s number to Marvin Harrison. That is no knock on Marvin , as he wore #88 in fine fashion as did Mackey. Just some inter

  24. Yes.....but he is last. WR or no, the discourse by some around here is that he was a better option than Rivers. Do you think Rivers would be last if he were on the Patriots?

  25. Given what he started with, and the level of QUALITY he's brought to every position BUT two, I'm giving him an A- and I think he's here for at least 3-4 more years. I like what he's done across the board. My concerns are the QB position, obviously, but I'm also concerned about the lack of ability when it comes to the WR position. Yes, it can be said he's tried to address it, but after 3 tries now, 3 misses, i think its a glaring weakness in both Ballard and the scouting department. Which isn't bad I supposed given he seems to be hitting on every other position. It may take us venturing into

  26. Jimmy Orr had to share the spotlight with the great Raymond Berry for several years in Baltimore. Unitas and Berry spent a lot of off time getting their timing down like Harrison and Manning did and they were a deadly and legendary combination. RIP Mr. Orr I was a big fan. I still am a Baltimore Colts fan but we change with the changes.

  28. That is true. I will tell you everyone in Baltimore has also enjoyed the more recent Raven’s history. As painful as the Colt’s leaving was at the time, I think in the long run it worked out for both cities. I guess because I was very young in those old days , those old Baltimore Colts guys were my greatest hero’s. Johnny U and Brooks Robinson will be forever icons in Baltimore. I just wish those banners were hung somewhere. Those wins, and even some of the losses like Super Bowl 3, were quite historic.

  29. I would have no problem with that. That’s the problem when two sides both love something sometime neither get as much as they should.

  30. Yeah trades at the deadline are either teams getting rid of players to go full rebuild or to go all in on winning it this year. I don’t think the a Colts fit either of those.

  31. I think Ballard has done a great job. We don’t win the game against CIN with Justin Houston. He is an unsung hero on this team. He brought the defense together and spoke to everyone. Ballard bringing that type of leadership should go unquestioned. We also have depth on our roster. This was something I’ve been preaching about since 2016.

  33. Remember that Peyton Manning did the exact same thing that Lawrence is thinking about doing. If Peyton had left after his junior season as many expected at the time then the J.E.T.S., Jets, Jets, Jets were positioned to draft him. Knowing that...Peyton made the wise decision to return for his senior year and ultimately was drafted by Bill Polian and the Colts. The rest is history.

  34. I remember him when I first became a Colt fan and dream season enroute to the SB III nightmare loss to the Joe Namath and the Jets. Colts were huge 17 point favorites after blasting the Browns 34-0 in the NFC Championship. The Browns was the team that handed the Colts the only loss 31-21, in their 13-1 season, when the started Johnny Unitas, coming off his elbow surgery as he threw 3 ints. He road the bench until SB III when Morrai was messing up and almost brought the Colts back but the loss was NFL destiny and was a factor in the NFL/AFL merger as the AFL KC Chiefs beat the Vikings in SB

  37. Very underrated. Loved watching him catch those high spiral passes that Johnny U would drop from the sky. He was not very big or particularly fast. He was a great route runner & always found a way to get open. Specially in the end zone. RIP Jimmy Orr
