  1. If there is a good twist to this, if we remain in the 3 spot our matchups are real favorable and we avoid the Dodgers or Padres until the NLCS. After tonight we are still 3.5 ahead of the Cards and Reds, 4.5 over the Brewers in the NL Central. Cards have now played 53 games, we have played 56. That is a pretty comfortable lead at this point.

  2. The new PS rules make a ton of sense. I suspect some variation will be retained once the NFL world returns to “normal”.

  4. The one thing some people have completely ignored, or are just flat out not capable of understanding, is that Philip isn't likely to lose nearly as much of his effectiveness as other top quarterbacks as they age because he's never had the level of physical athleticism that they once had. His effectiveness has always come more from the neck up than most other top quarterbacks. And he's not going to lose any of that.

  10. He managed to get good grades in college, did extensive volunteer work in the community along with all his other student/athlete obligations. I agree with you, character is not a concern, what we don’t know is how successful he’ll be at the NFL level. I do believe he’ll work his tail off to be successful. Kianna is the perfect gf/wife for an athlete, both are level headed young people. They really do have a nice love story.

  11. How in ANY way is Pittman's YT channel a "character concern" or not "Colt-like"? Him and his girlfriend have had their YouTube channel for years now and I don't see any reason why they shouldn't keep doing it. It was known when we drafted him that he had the YouTube channel and it wasn't a problem then. There's no doubt that Ballard is ok with it, because he wouldn't still be doing it if the organization took issue with it. Also, have you even watched any of his videos?

  13. Just some historical perspective as to whom we have under center right now...... Essentially broke all SEC Records set by Peyton Manning before graduating as a senior.... Drafted in 2004, threw approximately 20 passes in 2004 and 2005 as he sat behind......Drew Brees. So in year 15 as a starter, with an AVERAGE year he will move into the top 5 (historically) in yardage and touchdowns.....trailing only the likes of Brees, Manning, Brady and Favre but passing by Marino in both categories. Not bad for playing for some awful crappy and some awful con

  17. It’s really cool to see all of this behind the scenes stuff. Patmon and Pittman seem to have a very good relationship. Also noticed he hangs out with Eason which is a good thing to see. Eason needs to show he is developing a good locker room relationship with the guys.

  26. I understand the frustration, believe me, but he could just as easily have had the same injury on any number of pass patterns. Heck, a crossing pattern could have resulted in the exact same play. It is what it is, in other words. Just have to "buck up" and move on. Knowing what I've learned about PC, that's exactly what he'll be doing.

  28. What I saw was a very talented rookie QB. He was prepared and that tells me he put the work in. Has has confidence and poise. He is 6'6" around 235 lbs. He seemed pretty quick for a guy his size. It would not surprise me for him to be the starter from here on out. Sad for Taylor but the future has been seen.

  39. Michael and Kianna are really good kids, but I can understand a few people’s concern. Our players are encouraged to engage in social media in college, with support and guidance from our SID with suggestions on how to navigate the media and how to interact with fans. Believe e, they were monitored and advised. By the time they leave, they’re very media savvy. They have to be in a city like L.A., it’s important for the players to engage with the fans, and become good citizens of their new communities and contribute off the field as well.

McGaha scouted Blackmon and said they saw how athletic/versatile he was. Matt Terpening said: "So, Julian is really unique. So as a junior last year, he actua

  45. Absolutely no way. I'm usually willing to give someone a 2nd chance, but this was armed robbery. I can at least somewhat understand someone committing armed robbery, because they were desperate and needed to feed their family. In no way do I condone it, but desperation can make people do things they otherwise wouldn't have. A rich athlete committing armed robbery while they're already making millions is indicative of a much deeper issue to where committing the act was somehow a good idea to them and possibly even "fun".
