  2. Unfortunately, You're probably right. I just want this offense to get one more dynamic player for AR and this offense would explode.
  3. He'll have to move up to dd it. IMO But I think it's worth it.
  4. I agree! IMO Bowers is the best pick if Ballard and Co think that Pierce is a good enough deep threat receiver. I'm not saying that I think he is I'm just saying if they think he is then Bowers is the best pick. But unfortunately, I think Ballard stays at 15 and picks a corner which isn't necessarily a bad pick. I just think we need one more dynamic offensive player like a Bowers to make this offensive explosive one more will do it. IMO. But I know we need more defense playmakers so maybe Turner is who they're looking at. I'm not a big Paye fan we could use a formidable pass rusher. I would be surprised if Ballard moves up and loses picks unless there is a player that he loves. I think it's more likely moving down than moving up. But if I were to answer what I would love to see him do it would be to move up and get either Nabers or Bowers there on my wish list. To me either one of those players would make this offense sizzle. I think Nabers would be the deep treat this offense needs. If Ballard thinks he can get what he wants in the second round and beyond there are enough quality players then he moves down. But to me, I don't agree with this strategy because this team needs more difference-makers that's why I like the idea of moving up.

  6. I don't think the Colts have any trade up plans primarily bc they didn't do much in FA. The plan likely is to add picks not give them away. You can add multiple blue chip defenders if you trade back #15 while still getting a blue chip WR in Rd 1. Blue chip according to the Colts standards more than the pundits and fans who are often wrong. I like the trade back the best unless Bowers or somebody else we didn't think would be there is sitting there at #15. I think the passing over better players logic is faulty for the most part bc it's based on people's perception and not how a team has things ranked on their board.
  7. Sticking at 15 is the most likely, but if Chris Ballard was ever going to move up in the first round and select a player, it's gonna happen next week.
  8. I didn’t think it was three years ago. I’m not sure we’re talking about the same thing. If you want, you can post the thread you found here. I’ll be able to tell if that’s the thread or not. I know what you said. As for starting stuff…. I’ll turn the other cheek. Clearly you don’t want to be pressed and you don’t want to be wrong. You live your life. I’ll try to stay out of it.
  9. Highly unlikely. Smith is maybe the most underrated tackle in football and Raimann has locked down the LT spot.
  10. FWIW: Today I listened to a guy from The Athletic interviewed on ESPN. (Darren Lee). He said interviewing GMs at the combine, almost all view DeJean as a safety except two teams. He thinks the Colts and Jags view DeJean as a corner. I don’t know this reporter, never seen him before, so I can’t speak to his credibility. But it sounds like he did a lot of homework. And I appreciate your view on pro day times being reliable or not. I’m always skeptical on pro days. But I thought DeJean helped himself on his testing.
  11. I could care less what he does. Been too long ago.
  12. I’m with ya.. I'm not sure we’re going WR at 15 either. I think we could go DE, and it’s possible we could go CB as well. Gosh, I love Mitchell and really like Arnold as well. And if we trade back I would be fine with McKinstry or a DE on defense or one of the 2nd tier of WRs that could be there in the 20’s. So many options. I keep reminding myself, every pick could produce a surprise, because I think Ballard will have so many options to choose from. Im also not sure Ballard will use all 7 rounds. He finished in 5 rounds in his first draft 2017, and he finished in 6 rounds in 2019. Maybe he uses all 7 rounds, but I’m not confident we will. One week from tonight.
  13. My Final Mock Draft 15. Brock Bowers, TE, 6’4 245 Lbs, Georgia - Blue Chip Prospect. Rare combination of acceleration, speed and body control. Hands-catcher operating with good coordination and technique. With Pittman on the outside Bowers will control the middle of the field and seams. AR Will develop much quicker into a top 10 QB with Bowers as his TE. 46. TJ Tampa, CB, 6’1, 190 Lbs, Iowa State - Elite physical traits. Plays with good positioning throughout routes. Very good in press Coverage and Zone. Expect him to compete in training camp and be named a starter. 82. Calen Bullock, S, 6’2 190 lbs, USC - Elite physical traits. He has the range to play single-high safety, the athleticism to line up over the slot and the ball skills to chalk up impressive on-ball production. Expect him to compete in training camp for the starting S position. 117. Tez Walker, WR, 6’2 195 Lbs, UNC - Elite speed with very good body control. Career average of 30.7 yards on touchdown receptions. Gives us very good depth and competition with Pierce. 151. Grayson Murphy, DE, 6’3 260 Lbs, UCLA - Shows impressive quickness and change of direction to help turn speed to power as a rusher. Good depth. 191. Keaton Bills, G, 6’5 320 Lbs, Utah - Cerebral player, quick to react to twists and stunts up front. Very good depth.
  14. I’d take Bird off and replace him with AJ Foyt mostly because of what most of Bird did was in Boston and Foyt is the greatest star in the sport Indianapolis was known for a long time. Still I’d agree you are splitting hairs picking between the two and can’t go wrong with either.
  15. It would be of great benefit to get quality over quantity. Don’t agree on trading down.
  16. Brewers' fans = the worst fans in the league. Too bad you had your little window from 2018-2023 to get that Ring, you whiney babies! Couldn't do it. Cubs = 2016 World Champs and we are about to run away with the Division here in 2024. Pirates are coming back down to earth, Reds are good but not better than the Cubs, and the Cards are average. Time for a Belly Bomb like yesterday
  17. If he's able to trade back and still get WR Brian Thomas, he'll do it.
  18. NL Central Standings as of April 18th: 1. Brewers 11-6 2. Cubs 11-7 3. Pirates 11-8 4. Reds 9-9 5. Cards 9-10 Cubs only a half game out of 1st, Brewers better celebrate now because their little sweet reign over the division is about to come to an end.
  19. Trade back with Philly, since Isaiah Rodgers suspension wasn't lifted with the other guys today. Whatever that's about? Maybe the league looked at how the NBA handled Porter's gambling and are reevaluating Rodgers? Idk, probably not but seems weird he didn't get removed from suspension list. They might need to come up and get a CB. Thoughts I heard something about Jaguars trading up. Turned out to be just a bunch of hot air. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Lol.
  20. That is exactly what I thought! 😂 I watched him and he reminded me of George Pickens with his personality.
  21. Yes, I was responding to a post about WRs. Just WR hits. Ballard has had a lot of hits at other positions.
