The quote was that Buckner was a “really good player”. It was NOT “pretty good player.” And there’s a big difference.
But even so, answer this question.... Why would you prefer the opinion of a nameless person over that of our own General Manager? Why is the opinion of someone who you don’t even know more valuable to you than the view of Chris Ballard?
That’s a mystery to me....
