Week 9 vs Houston

Thoughts and prayers to Houston's coach. Okay the first 2 quarters I literally wanted to pulled my hair out screaming at the tv, nothing was going right and some crappy calls (such is life I understand, it happens) didn't help matters, dropped passes and the o-line not protecting Luck! You know they are gunning for the QB so your job is to PROTECT him. Luck was sacked 4 times. Rough when FG attempt is blocked, not sure where the Colts were the first half but glad they showed in the second. G

T-Rich-Pep

I hope that Pep has some plays ready to get T-Rich going. It seems like when he is in opponents know he is running and stack the box, I would like to see him run more plays to keep defense on there heels. I don't know if the fullback (Havili) being in the formation is signaling run or what but he needs a little help from Pep. Brown is running great, he is because the defenses are not sure when he is running. Trent is slowly making progress and will continue to get better each week. Trent wil

Happy Halloween 2013!

Hope that you all have had a great Halloween. As hope that you all have had a great trick or treating. For those of you that did go. And that you were safe and sound. And that you checked your kids candy after you came home. BTW, quit Trick or Treating at 13-years old. Moved out of the way you can say so that other younger kids could have their fun in the sun!

Colts trade for reciever?

I see the Colts trading for Justin Blackmon Jags or Greg Little from Browns, they are young talented and won't cost as much to acquire as some of the others that (MAY) be on the trading block. I could see them not getting anyone and letting the season play out also (Brazil, Whalen, Rogers all have potential), but that just doesn't seem to fit Grigs aggressive style. I know fans don't want to part with picks but I would rather part with a pick for a proven player than to take a gamble on one th

Any Plans for The Bye Week?

I am watching some football as I watch regardless of who is playing. But also will be attending for a couple of hours, a baby shower. As this is the fourth week I am missing out on Sunday football, all in October. First two weeks away in Disney World. Last week my niece's 18th birthday. And now a baby shower. Noting against those but still, missing out on all day football for four weeks! Have you all seen that Drew Brees commercial on Verizon where one woman is missing out on kick off over atte

Interesting stats

Since it is the bye week I want to gather something interesting statistics that people might have not known or is a very important statistic. Offense Andrew Luck is 1st in the NFL for fewest interceptions thrown (QBs that started every game, Matt Ryan threw 4 INTs and Manning threw 3 INTs in Week 8, they previously both had three each) Andrew Luck has been sacked 15 times this year, sacked 7 times in the first 2 games. Sacked 18 times through 7 games last year. 12th in the NFL in Total Yardage

(almost) mid season report

On offense the passing game was good, but now with the #1 TE and the #1 WR out for the year, next man up is going to have to really step up, Hilton is a player just looking for more reps anyways and hopefully Heyward-Bey can start catching the ball more consistantly..... Brazil,Whalen,Reed and Rogers will all be giving a chance to fill that need, Fleener will probably get more activity, as well as more throws to the RB's The running game has been good with Bradshaw and Brown playing well, Richar

Colts sign CB

Colts sign Jalil Brown CB from Kansas City Chiefs......This means either someone is hurt or we are planning on trading a DB and pick for a WR.....They dressed 10 DB's Sunday night....I mean how many DB's do we need ?

Don't Fret Colts Fans. Wayne's Injury Will Force DHB To Be "Next Man Up." Plus Possible FA Scenarios

Sunday's win was a bitter sweet one. Due to the loss of stud receiver and locker room leader Reggie Wayne for the season, beating the Broncos came at a costly price. It's not easy for any team to continue the same level of success offensively after losing a player of Wayne's caliber. Still, this loss provides yet another opportunity for someone on this team to be the "next man up." Could it be DHB? LaVon Brazill? How about Griff Whalen? You can bet Grigson is on the horn right now sending out fe

Great Game! Colts Wanted It More!

Colts really wanted it more. Peyton will always be a class act.No matter where he plays. As really nice tribute to him. But the Colts wanted it more. As they knew Peyton it seems inside out. But still, really great game. Wonder how many people watch the game last night. Bet it was one of the highest rated Sunday Night Football games in history!

Are the Colts NOW the Best Team in the NFL?

So now we beat Denver and the so-called "unstoppable Manning and Broncos offense, which we stopped really well for most of the game and did not allow them to take the lead after they held a 14-10 lead in the 2nd quarter. The Colts do not have the best record in the NFL, but have beaten teams with the best records in the NFL. Denver was undefeated and now 6-1. Seattle was undefeated and now 6-1. San Francisco is back and is now 5-2. The only team with more wins than us that we haven't already bea

Game 7 vs Broncos

This game was the talk of the town as Peyton returns to the house he built. I am a fan of Peyton's and wish him nothing but the best unless he's playing the Colts then all bets are off. He did amazing things for the city. Awesome job defense it was great to see Mathis get to sack Manning twice, while sacked 4 times, Landry and Freeman are forces to fear when they make moves to stop plays. Bethea leading with 6 tackles for the night. Defense really stepped up and made some game changing pla

SNF To Have Highest Ratings over Broncos-Colts!

This could be up there in the Sunday Night Football as Peyton returns since 2013 to Indianapolis. As he and the Broncos go against the Colts. It should be a heck of a game. And don't want to give the score out here. This is about a classy guy who is still missed and has really has nothing but awesome things to say about the Colts and Indy. Showing you he is a class act all the way. Regardless of what is going on! He is missed still! But also glad that he is such a classy guy! This will rank up the

Colts cut NFL's all time greatest player (still unaceptable)

I have been trying for over a year now to leave this alone and move on, but...................with all the hype and hoopla with Manning coming to town, it's all coming back out and everyone is giving their opinions. I have made more posts than I care to count on this subject and have looked ( VERY ) deep into all the angles, etc I have been a Colts fan since 1968, so I know the history and have lived it, I was pretty young when the Unitas' Colts dominated and there have been a few (brief) runs

Does Manning Have a Guarenteed Homecoming Win? Or Will the Colts Prevail?

A lot of Colts fans are upset with our performance on Monday Night Football and I was furious. But, it was just one other game and we just so happened to be outplayed with injuries that plagued the defense. The Colts have a completely different mindset going into Week 7, when they will have Manning come home on Sunday Night Football. Every Colts fan will be watching the game and most would be happy for whoever wins (All Colts fans hope for the Colts to win, but most should might be happy if Mann

John Fox thinks Irsay's comments about Manning was a cheap shot!

I don't know, look at it this way.. Peyton basically sucked away the salary cap, making it very hard to pay key players to stay. I will always love number 18, but we needed money for defense and for special teams. A well rounded team has a better chance of winning Superbowls. The Patriots prove that year after year. Irsay is a competitor, as much as Kraft, Jones, or heck anyone else. I truly believe that Irsay's comments about needing a better team to win more rings and such, has been blown o

Un-Colts/Chargers

I often use cliches, because they make sense, every time I watch a game like that, that's the first thing I think..... they are not really...that bad. It is very hard to win in the NFL, I hear that every week. What I saw was a team that "looked" like they were not prepared to play a football game, like they just showed up...dropped passes, the defense was practically a non factor. I really don't know what or why that happened. It happens every week in this league, the Broncos struggled against t

Game 6 vs Chargers

Okay the Colts first drive they moved down the field great then lost momentum. I don't believe the Chargers are a better team but they outplayed the Colts. Fleener for the love of all that is holy catch the ball....yes I know he was not the only with some missed assignments but those stick out in my mind since it would have given the Colts the 1st down, I know Hilton, Wayne. and Brazil dropped the ball also which is disappointing as this is your job....CATCH the ball. Trent isn't being used like

Woozie80

Trent Richardson is not being used enough or correctly.

Now, I understand that Trent Richardson is only 4 weeks new to the Colts offense. The problem is that we have a star Running Back that is being used for blocking schemes and diversions. This guy was drafted 3rd overall and put up big rushing numbers and TD's last year for a failing Cleveland Browns team. This was a big trade for the Colts organization that can propel them to another level, when it comes to being a Super Bowl contending offense. This gives the Colts a better opportunity to ma

MNF......wth!

Is it me or does this offense drive you nuts, 3rd and 3 and you pass the ball. T-Rich is not performing (YET) but he can get you 3 yards. I am just really upset with some of the play calling, 4th and 2 and we punt with 3 minutes and some change......If we can't get 2 yards just pack it up and go home! The offense line sucked, drop balls sucked, 3rd down sucked penalties suck......This is needs fixed asap!!!!!!! Luckily the bye will give us sometime to get the team healthy and some practices
