QB- the only question is how much better Luck will be, there is usually significant growth from year #1 to year #2 and Luck was much better year #2,then at some point, soon there after, the breakout year, which will most likely be,this year or next RB- Is Richardson going to be better-kinda has to be.....is he ever going to justify giving up a first rounfd pick? Is he ever going to be elite? Can Bradshaw stay healthy for 16 games? Is Herron good enough to carry the load , if they don't produce a

There were 3 "healthy" players who I thought would make the cut , that didn't ( Meggett-McKinney-Sheppard) not even sure 2 of them ( Meggett-McKinney) were healthy, since they really didn't get many reps, so Sheppard was the only real surprise to me At RB, I went with Meggett, over Tipton and if it really came down to it, I thought Fluellen looked a tad better than Tipton, but they were pretty much even, plus when you trade for a guy, you kinda think he has a good chance to make the team, I had
San Francisco guard Alex Boone continues to hold out as he hopes to land a new contract. The Indianapolis Colts need help on the interior part of the offensive line.

Even in this new era, it seems like the same scenarios, the Offense is loaded and very productive, the O-line is a major questionmark and the Defense, each year, is trying to get to that same level: DE- The biggest addition of the off season was Jones-who brings talent, production and flexibility to a unit that really needed it. Jones and Redding will be the starters on the outside, with Jean-Francois being the top backup DT/NT- There are a group of guys who have yet to take the spot and claim a
In the Luck era, there have been 2 playoffs appearances, season #2-a little better than the previous year, each year, the goal is to improve and reach the Super Bowl-that goal will get a little harder to achieve once the core young players start earning "real" NFL salaries vs the rookie salaries they are currently playing under. The reality is, in the salary cap era, alot of things have to fall into place at the same time, to have a chance, there is only so much money and there are going to be ho
Imagine if you will that someone has stolen your identity. How would you like to learn of it? In the first scenario, your credit card company notices some suspicious behavior with your account and sends you a text asking if you know about the recent charges. The problem is caught early and solved. In the second scenario, you only become aware of the suspicious behavior several days later when you check your balance online. You contact the credit card company and have them cancel your card. Most
Hello Everyone, I was wondering if and when the colts will be hosting another exciting mini camp practice at Lucas Oil Stadium this year. Last year's was on June 12th and was announced in late April. I haven't heard of anything yet and was curious if they were going to do it again this year. I would like to notify my employer ahead of time so I don't miss out on the amazing opportunity. My girlfriend and I have been going every year and really enjoy them. Thanks!
2nd RD: Jack Mewhart-6'6-315-OL....... Very versatile linemen from Ohio St, started out as a Guard, played left tackle, even has some experience at Center (high school) typical big ten player... tough- old school mentality, was a team captain and had a very good week of workouts at the Senior bowl.....with many years of lackluster O-line play, he will be thrown into the mix for a chance to be a starter 3rd RD: Donte Moncrief-6'2-226-WR.....was rated as high as a borderline first rounder and on p
Hey people out there who may or may not enjoy reading what I write! Just wanted you to know that I still plan on writing more but I am getting married this week. And while it might not seem like it I take a lot of time to research to try to know at least a little bit what I am talking about and I try to spend time while writing making sure I put out the best blog I can. Aaannnddd if I were to devote that amount of time to a blog about football...my future wife would murder me...then no one wins.
NFL Draft is 2014. The next best thing next to the season beginning. Draft is an event in itself. Think that Clowney will be #1. Way, way over Manziel. But here is the Draft to come!

I've never really understood the proverb, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me." I feel like whoever came up with that never had someone break up with them or ever worked in the service industry. I'm a words guy. Words are extremely important to me. They are the most powerful symbols on the planet. I would never claim that I am a master wordsmith, but I know that words are super powerful! Words can Sustain a relationship or wreck it beyond help. Words can end a war.
I don't know why people are so against Khaled Holmes being our starting center. I watched 4 of his college game tapes the Utah, Georgia Tech, Oregon, and Notre Dame. I really liked what I saw. He makes the line calls, good run and pass blocker, and he finishes all of his blocks but he does have some weaknesses, the biggest one I noticed was that he tends to over extend sometimes, and plus he handled Domata Peko really well when came in for Samson Satele in the Cincinnati game. But overall I real
I have never been to a Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium (I attended last year's Titan's game in Tennessee). This is mainly due to the fact that I live in Chicago, home of the Bears, (Yes, Peyton, I suffer from Displaced Fan Syndrome). The second reason is I'm getting married, and justifying a ticket would put a...strain...on our budding (hopefully long lasting) relationship. This is only important because in part 1 of my search to find out what "Build The Monster," truly means I am going to be ta
It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.
Max Kellerman on ESPN 'First Take' has made the intriguing argument that in America anyway the Natl. Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
