The Dallas Cowboys are really going overboard in thinking they are some kind of special team! Jerry Jones needs to shut up and wait until the season is over before he starts boasting! In MY opinion there are a number of teams who are better than the Cowboys right now. They are: 1. New England 2. Indianapolis 3. Denver 4. San Diego 5. Seattle 6. Philadelphia 7. San Francisco 8. Green Bay and maybe even 9. Cleveland! The problem teams are having right now is under estimating the Cowboys. This is
I don't know about you but I am pretty excited about our team! The Colts look like the AFC South's best again.. You can never replace a legend but Luck has really shown that he is a very capable player. Speaking of legends, Reggie Wayne looks to be passing the torch to Ty Hilton. The best thing though is that Wayne is playing great, Hilton is playing great, etc. I think Wayne will play another year or two and they will be good years. We are facing the Bengals this weekend, and I am pretty p
What started out looking like another Thursday Night blowout, ended up being a down-to-the-wire contest. The Colts couldn't do no wrong for most of the first half, everything worked. We always hear how tough it is to win in the NFL, I am noticing how tough it is to play a complete game, the final score is all that matters, but it is amazing how this group can dominate ( for a half) then struggle-the other. I have to give the texans some credit, still don't see them as a playoff caliber team, the
The Colts are in Texas today to challenge the mighty Texans. Currently the two teams are tied for 1st place in the division. Fitzpatrick will be starting at QB for the Texans. This could be good for the Colts as he generally takes chances with the football, which sometimes leads to costly mistakes. Foster is one of the best rushers in the league so look for the Texans to run it at the Colts most of the game. I am hoping for another big day for the Colts defense. Go Colts, Good LUCK Chuck!

A bit of an off day for Luck, he only completed passes to 7 different receivers, seriously he continued to dominate (32-49-312-TD), the offense is clicking on almost all cylinders, the reason I say almost, is because they can be even better. Hilton led the way (9-90), really glad to see Allen (4-59-TD) getting more reps, we have alot of weapons at WR, both RB's are good out of the backfield, but Allen and Fleener can really create mismatches and everyone is talking about Allen being the next gre
Excited to see this game, hopefully a good one. I think the Colts easily should be 3-1 this season, Pep kind of cost us that one vs Philly......Colts also had the chance to win vs Denver, I personally feel pretty good about the team this year. If they can just play a whole game and not worry about changing there game plan like the Philly game(running the ball to waste the clock). Lots of team do that also, that is what almost gave us the Denver game. You still need first downs, if you get th
Another "easy" win vs another less than stellar division opponent, pretty much a total team domination in all the phases, highlighted by an amazing 42-17 edge in time of possession Offense: consecutive (almost) perfect efforts from Luck (29-41-393-4 TD's, spreading it around again, hitting all 9 receivers, led by Reggie (7-119-TD) and Hilton (6-105) with Allen, Fleener and Bradshaw adding TD's. The running game totals went down for the 3rd straight week, totaling 103 yds, it seemed to look a lit
Well Well What a game!!!! That was 4 quarters of Colts football! 1st quarter it was like a different team than what we've seen so far, offensive moved the ball well staying on the field giving defense time to re-group to get the job done when it was their turn. I would have liked to see Richardson punch it in the endzone as his running was what got them to the redzone but Bradshaw has proved to be a closer and can make it happen. Bradshaw, Nicks, Fleener, Allen and Toler loved watching you guy

Nothing like a game vs one of the leagues worst teams to make the sun look a little brighter, a very dominating first half, followed by a lets get this game over second half....it was a very good effort, all around, but until those kind of results come vs a team with a little more talent, not sure exactly how much it means Offense:welcome back to elite Mr. Luck, after an inconsistent start to the season, Luck was clicking on all cylinders (31-39-370-4 TD's and most importantly...... ZERO interce
A day behind.....I'm slacking Eagles exposed some weakness in the first quarter of our defense, but that seemed to have worked itself out as the game went on, I have heard people saying the Colts defense isn't up to par. Well look at the how the defense held McCoy and Sproles to 105 yards TOGETHER, considering these two can usually put over 100 each, good job defense! Richardson and Bradshaw had 149 rushing yards combined and looked good. Adams leading in tackles with 8. Wayne had a nice t
Now if we can find a decent QB- obviously I am kidding, but it is ironic that we have waited a looooooooooooooooooong time for a game like that from the RB's and that same game, Luck looks like he won't be playing in this league very long? It's hard to gauge anything, after 2 games, win or lose, but it is enough to see patterns developing, good and/or bad. Offense: The running game looked great, to the tune of 149 yards (169 total) and even better, both backs looked great, Richardson has looked
So now they've gone from terrible starts to terrible endings. Blaming the officiating is a sorry excuse from a team that was 14 points up in the second half. Also, except for the lack of pass rushing abilities, this one cannot be pinned on Grigson's bad personnel decisions. This one falls entirely on the coaching staff. Let's face it, the Colts have terrible defensive and offensive coordinators. It's not just the overall philosophy that isn't working, the actual play calling is terrible. Everyon

As a life long Colts fan I understand that many fans want to keep the same classic look of the uniforms that we've always had. Just looking around the NFL it's obvious that some teams are constantly looking for new flashy ideas for their uniforms (seahawks, Bucs, Jags), while other teams such as the Colts, Packers, Raiders, etc. never show any plans to change their traditional look. In my opinion I don't see why the Colts can't "modern" our uniforms up a little bit. What I mean by that is not
What is becoming the norm, a tale of 2 halves In the first half, the Colts were a no-show, couldn't play much worse than that, ineffective on offense and really didn't even slow down the Broncos offense, not really sure why this is becoming commonplace, kinda defies logic, one of of my favorite phrases, since many things in the NFL-defy logic. then for whatever the reason- I have heard they played better- I agree-but why? Offense: It was great see Reggie back, who led the receivers (9-98) Allen
Pagano is surely a wonderful, brave fellow, and Grigson seems to be a nice guy. I wish them well. But I don't think the Colts can ever win a Superbowl with them. I don't even think Andrew Luck should stay with the Colts unless there is a fundamental change. Pagano is surely a wonderful, brave fellow, and Grigson seems to be a nice guy. I wish them well. But I don't think the Colts can ever win a Superbowl with them. Let's see: 1. Colts started with no improvement whatsoever over last season. Th
It's that time of year again......I swear this was the longest off season ever. During any game there will be high points and low points, of course this game was no exception. The first half was rocky to say the least, but with half time to re-group the Colts made it a game and didn't give up. It was awesome to see Reggie back on the field. Richardson looked better then he had, wasn't dancing around like in the past (however Bradshaw is a force as he barrels through and a little more fun to
I hope the Colts come out firing, the run first offense has seemed to always put us in a hole, the comeback wins are when the coaching staff let Luck loose. I still believe in our run game but if we keep putting T-Rich/Bradshaw in predictable formations defenses are gonna eat them alive.....more play action, and running from the gun. Colts have had some success in the no huddle also. Pass first then run seems to work better in recent years, let's actually play/control the whole game from star
It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.

Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
