True, but I think the stress Ryan Kelly had to deal with has had a major impact on his play. Now it looks like his life is improving hopefully he can back to his Pro Bowl form.
Oh the memories. Watching the game in my recliner and getting killed. Go do some work on the computer keeping an eye on the game and it starts to improve. Go back to recliner and team looks bad again. Go back to the computer and things look better again. Go back to recliner and it’s bad again. Went to the computer a third time and we start our comeback. I can be a little slow sometimes but I decided to watch the rest of the game from my computer chair. Stayed up to about 3 am watch all the talking heads talking about the game. Went to work at 7 am and a lot of my coworkers came by to offer condolences. Nobody would believe me that we won.
This gives me flashbacks to the Trev Alberts situation. Balls out last half of last year of rookie contract and signs a new big contract and retires during training camp.
Back in 2000 Polian traded for Fred lane and we were going to use him and Edgerin on the field at the same time. Unfortunately for Fred we lost him before we got to use him. If I remember correctly Polian called it the Pony offense.
Was watching College World Series and the announcers was interviewing the new NCAA commissioner. He brought up they need to do something with the NIL but don't know what to do yet. Also brought up they did a survey of 5000 athletes and found all of them have been betting on sports. Said a majority had bet on their own school. The announcers and he did not address whether they bet on their own games.
I see we have the 4th pick tomorrow and confused because earlier I said we had only trade picks for the draft left. I was wrong maybe the tracker got hokey for a moment with all the trading going on. Sorry we still have normal 4, 5, 7 picks.
Saw an ESPN story on the 1994 draft. Missed the first half but caught Dilfer’s comment that the Kiper/Tobin fiasco might have been his fault. He told the Colts don’t draft him. If they do he would go back to college and get drafted in next years Expansion draft. Said his wife gives him $#*@ about it cause you could have play with Faulk for 10 years. Also learned 1994 was the year the draft went to 7 rounds and the first year of post draft rookie free agents.
