OP is being very hyperbolic but I think our fan base, by and large, has been to quick too just assume we have the QB position figured out. I've seen that exact phrase on the FB groups and the reddit page. I think AR looked as good as a young rookie could in his limited playing time, but the dude has never even played a road game. He could be great. He could completely collapse. We really dont know. I'm still in the cautiously optimistic camp.

There is zero, and I mean no reason to think this team will be the one to beat in a division with Stroud and Lawrence. AR looked great but has yet to finish a single game.

He'll bounce around to a few teams and practice squads, maybe get some playing time for a team who thinks they can fix him. My guess is he's out of the NFL in 2 years or less.

The consensus pre season was we'd win more games with Minshew, but we should roll with AR to get him the reps. I dont think he gets us any more wins TBH. Maybe 1 with his legs. We should have won the Browns game and I am including that also.

I like Ballard for the most part but at this point, we know who he is. The fact that this team has had so few wins in the division is alarming in year what, 7? Yes I know, Luck, but that was nearly 5 years ago. He seems to be evolving a bit in terms of modern roster construction, so we'll see. If Richardson doesnt hit, no way does Ballard stick around.

Maybe. I think this trend of firing HC's 1-2 years into their tenure outside of something egregious, is really dumb though.

My guess: Leonard clears waivers and then sits out the rest of the season after signing to the Bears practice squad. Flus will believe he can fix him Reich and Wentz style.

I guess he was just so impressively bad when he first started that any improvement is a good thing. I didnt like that he was so caustic to players/coaches, seemed like he was trying to get clickbait quotes from them. That and the fact that he knew literally zero about the Colts when he came on board. I miss Keefer a lot. At least we still have Bowen.

I knew he would be cut at the end of this season but this is truly jaw dropping. If he goes full Jerry Hughes and balls out on another team I'm not sure how I'd feel. On one hand he's been one of my favorite Colts ever, but you can tell he is just not the same player (and likely never will be again). I remember reading on here about his "minor back surgery". Aint no such thing as minor back surgery.

Just saw this. Bizarre. Can he be picked up by another team, and if so does his contract go with him? Cant say I remember something like this ever happening to a player of his caliber. He looked super washed, but who knows? Or did he announce for sure he's retired?

Stroud is playing out of his mind. I'm not even mad. I like watching good player play football. That said, this dude is going to be a problem for us for a long time

We have not seen enough of AR to know if he is an NFL quality QB, at all. He was healthy in 1/5 games, and looks to have a lot of promise, but him being a franchise QB is as far from being a sure thing as it gets. If a Caleb Williams or a Drake Maye is available you have to at least consider it.
