It goes:

- 2 matchups vs teams in division

- 1 matchup vs every other team

That equates to 14 matchups.

Playoffs are from Week 15-17 ((8 teams make the playoffs)(could be changed))

That is nice. Bill Polian is not in the league anymore, so fewer chances of resting the starters come week 17. Texans may rest their starters in week 17 if they dont have to play for seeding and might continue their losing streak in Indy again??? Just speculation at this point but a valid possibility.

I do think 8 out of 12 teams making the playoffs dilutes the importance of the regular season, just my two cents. I'd rather do it like the NFL, top 2 seeds get a bye. 6 (like in an NFL conference) out of 12 FF teams in our league can make the playoffs. Seeds 3-6 duke it out in the wild card round in week 15. Then the semi-finals/divisional round in week 16, and the championship round in week 17.

If anybody is willing too, you can join up with another guy to create a 2 man team. We were thinking about 16 teams, but our consensus was that it would be too big.

I would have to agree, 16 teams is too big for a casual league. If anyone wants to do as suggested by Andy, I would be in, I'm a Yahoo Fantasy football Champion 3 of the last 4 years (I didn't play one year lol)

Yeah, it would be nice to have you as well. As long as the 12 that have signed up show up every week. Nothing is more frustrating than someone that signs up for an FF league and goes MIA midway through the season and that person's head-to-head matchups not being played seriously affects the standings and who gets into the playoffs etc. It is a 17 week commitment, players should realize that.

IF ANYONE GOES M.I.A during the fantasy football season, they will be replaced and not allowed back in. I really hate it too.

1. Anyone interested in being a co-commisioner (I'd have 2)

2. So, after proposing it, does anyone want to share a team with SilentHill? You would have to tell him the username and password of your account, so keep that in mind, but SilentHill is a good guy so don't worry.

3. Anyone wanna move the draft date to a date closer to us?

1. I would, but I'm new. Someone else is probably a better choice for FF.

2. Again I would, and since it's my first time playing a teammate might be beneficial. I want to try the "baptized by fire" approach.

3. I would suggest before the first pre-season week. Can possibly add a difficulty factor. Say your head honcho gets injured you have to scramble for a new guy. I like that idea in theory. Plus, If it's possible, have preseason games? I only suggest this because I am new too FF. So if no one else likes that idea then we can go another direction.

There's no problem from me--I'll be hard at work come draft time (9.30 am Thursday here) so I'll still autodraft--will get some high quality players anyway

wise decision... If you love Pro Football you will LOVE Fantasy.... the only drawback is when one of "your team's players" is going against the team you officially root for. But ...

you will see. It's a blast. Esp when you join money leagues... and start to do well.
