Patriots Sign Guard Logan Mankins To 6 Year Deal

Bob Kraft said today that Mankins will be a Patriot for life.

Phenomenal long-term signing, opens up some more cap room, too.

The Patriots' o-line will be phenomenal for a long, long time.

Mankins, Volmer, Solder... great line for the future, never mind the present.

As far as I am concerned I think Mankins is the best in the league at his position. And this frees up some cap room. I don't even know what's left for the Patriots to do, but now they can do it.

I feel like the Patriots O-line never gets credit - even during their dynasty years, they were just as crucial as the D (Brady wasn't sacked once in the 2003 run). The Patriots have been blessed with quality lines on both sides of the ball the entire decade lucky SOBs

Volmer was such a STEAL by the way - it's absolutely rediculous how spoilt for talent the Pats (and for that matter Saints) O-lines are

In the past we've have maybe one great linemen with the rest being avg including a sumo wrestler they picked up. The real credit goes to Dante, the Oline coach. He's the best in the league and has been here seems like forever.

New England is the best run franchise in the league by a very wide margin.

They build from the inside out and I had no doubt that they would make this deal.

looks like they were trying to get Haynesworth restructured before they could do Logan for cap reasons. Which they did,Haynesworth restructured for 1 mil cap hit this year.

What a team player he is.
