I just got a call from a friend that lives in Stillwater OK, where he was in attendance and works security at the Oklahoma State pro day. He said that Manning arrived at the stadium and was greeted by Elway, Fox and Xanders and were then escorted into a meeting room. Shortly afterwards, Justin Blackmon was brought into said conference room and stayed for nearly 45 minutes. The doors opened and Blackmon ran down the hall back to the field with a huge smile on his face. The rest of the posse left shortly afterwards to escort Manning to their private jet heading to Denver.

He did not hear anything from anybody what was said, but one can only make a clear assumption of what was discussed in that room. Does Denver have the ability to move up to get Blackmon? Would it be like the Redskins Deal that just happened? What about a potential trade out of Tebow to move up to that spot in the draft? Blackmon is supposed to be top 5 right? Who would benefit from a Tebow trade?

Why would Peyton want a unproven rookie wide reciever? I don't see that as a very promising bargaining chip.

If this all happens, that would be pretty awesome hearing it from here first

I read that Denver has the cap to move on Reggie, Dallas and possibly Saturday. Stokely might also return if Peyton is for sure there. Top running game, top 5 defense, most cap space of all the suitors. Still in the AFC. Doesnt have to play his brother. Doesnt have to play Brady twice a year. A weak division. A way out from under Tebow. Elway who is also a friend. Why wouldn't he go.

I can see him there for some reason, I just don't know why they would trade for him, they just drafted Gabbert...

They would increase attendance by 10,000 instantly. You need to remember their new owner is a businessman first, not a football fan.

The Titans' visit with Manning has been placed on at least temporary hold. Tennessee owner Bud Adams' private plane had been scheduled to fly from Nashville to the Raleigh-Durham airport — where not far away, Manning has been throwing at Duke University recently — but that flight has been cancelled.
