Why bring this up? A lowlife was shot and then a few months later killed and Philly has a DA that wants to make the papers by tying Harrison to the case. And yet they have no evidence that Harrison was involved.

you never been to the hood then because thats the way it goes - no one likes snitches

Yes, I've been keeping up with the case since it first happened. Thus why I stated "A lowlife was shot and then a few months later killed"

The guy was actually shot with a very unique pistol that Harrison owns. And that pistol was found in a buckett at a car wash that harrison owns. And Harrison was forth right in saying he owned the gun and to the best of his knowledge it was locked in the case where he left it. But yet they didn't have enough evidence to bring charges against Harrison.

Then a few months later the lowlife was shot and killed. They suspected Harrison but yet no evidence pointed to Harrison and they never brought charges.

Then a few months after that they pulled Harrison over and he, as the law states, gave the cops his permit to carry license. And somehow those cops, while sitting in their police car saw Harrison put a gun into his center console of his SUV with tinted windows and illegally searched his vehicle and found a gun, the same caliber of weapon used to kill the low life Dixon. But it was not the same gun per ballistic tests.

Like I said, it's a fishing expedition because the DA wants his 15 minutes of fame.

( i bet alot of you colts fan didn't even know about this)

Yeah, because this wasn't a constant topic of conversation on the forum for about three months.

It is kind of nice to see a video that actually presents the facts instead of all of the hearsay and rumors that were being printed by the news outlets at the time. There were reports at the time that the police found Marvin's gun hidden in a bucket at his car wash. The actual police reports say that he turned over the gun voluntarily. What still doesn't make sense to me, though, is this sequence of events...

1. Marvin and thug get into argument and Marvin throws him out of his bar. (Not disuputed by Marvin)

2. A couple days later, Marvin and thug have confrontation outside Marvin's car wash. (Not disputed by Marvin)

3. Moments after confrontation, somebody opens fire and unloads their guns into thug's truck.

4. When questioned, Marvin turns two guns over to police.

5. Forensic analysis shows that bullet casings taken from thug's truck match gun that Marvin turned over to police.

How is that not sufficient evidence? What better evidence do you expect to find? A high-definition video tape with slow-mo special effects of Marvin blowing holes in the guy's truck? That's pretty much as good as murder evidence gets. I've always doubted the validity of that sequence of events because if all of that stuff is true, I don't understand how Marvin Harrision is not in jail right now.

This is a FOOTBALL forum. Not only has this topic been discussed many times (never ending constructively), but this topic is going way off course with the "snitches, white boy, etc."

    • You think the Ed Dodds you see in edited clips here is the same as the Ed Dodds who interviews with teams?   I don’t know you or anyone would think that?      He’s very much respected around the NFL which is why multiple teams ask to interview with them most every year.

    • Yeah... Richardson needs players who can separate and who can get open deep. IMO "give the inaccurate QB a contested catch receiver with large catch radius" is one of the tropes that hasn't proven to work well. Contested catches have about 50-55% success rate even with the best of contested catch receivers and with relatively accurate QBs... now if you think AR's accuracy is not good, drop that rate even more. The best way to give a relatively inaccurate QB better chance to complete passes is to give him a WR who separates and and who is open so the QB would have more of a margin for error to throw the ball a little behind or ahead or a little higher or lower than ideal. (we are not talking about uncatchable balls here... those will be uncatchable for anyone really). In that regard, one thing I would agree about is - we need WRs who have good hands and have good ball skills.   And this is ignoring that AR has indeed been pretty good with his accuracy on passes at intermediate and long range. His biggest problem coming into the league was the short stuff and he was already showing improvements in that deparment before he got injured.    And Worthy is the WR who created the most separation from anybody in this draft :
    • Richardson  accuracy  on deep balls is his strength.  Hence why you pair an elite deep threat in worthy.
