If Chris Ballard continues his trend, won’t see a RB until later rounds

So give me with the 3 second rounders

Maurice Hurst

Harold Landry

Josh Jackson

Connor Williams

any combo for 3 of that 4 and this draft is already my favorite one in Colts history

Yeah, I don’t know what the deal is with Hurst’s heath, but he’s obviously a guy I’d like on the Colts.

Isaiah Oliver and Landry are two other guys that’d be great.

Questions...

Why some players in regular black standard font and others are in blue?

And why are some in regular black font and others are in bold?

Thanks...

Bold are need fits. Blue are players I think we might be interested in.

I'm expecting:

Cleveland to select Landry and Williams or Reid

Giants selecting Daniels/Hernandez

So for the Colts:

pick 4: Josh Jackson

pick 5: Hurst

Both filling big needs Josh Jackson is zone CB that will thrive in our new defense and Hurst can jump into our 3 technique.

Personally I hope it goes:

Pick 4: Harold Landry

Pick 5: Hernandez/Daniels (To many good OL players available to not pick one)

Harold Landry is my obvious #1. Rare to find guys with speed and bend like that. I'd completely understand if Ballard trades up to the top of Round 2 to take him.

For our next pick, I'd be ecstatic to have any of these players:

OT Connor Williams

RB Derrius Guice

CB Isaiah Oliver

OG Will Hernandez

CB Josh Jackson

DT Maurice Hurst

If we conclude our first 3 picks with any of these combinations, it'll be my favorite Colts draft ever:

Round 1 - OG Nelson

Round 2 - DE Landry

Round 2 - OT Williams

or

Round 1 - OG Nelson

Round 2 - DE Landry

Round 2 - RB Guice

or

Round 1 - OG Nelson

Round 2 - RB Guice

Round 2 - CB Oliver

Then toss in the 17th pick of Round 2 and the early Round 3 pick... we could be looking mighty fine :)

If we get Landry I will do a victory dance. I thought he would be gone by now.

Same here. Doesn't everyone find it shocking that he's still available?? For the Colts to miss out on Chubb, yet still have a shot at landing the class' consensus #2 pass rusher in Round 2?? I'd be in dream land.

No way Landry survives past the Giants and Browns

i agree i think the ankle injury scared people his production fell off big time but some had late second early 3rd grades on him. I think if we can get him he will provide some help on the edge for us instantly as far as getting after the QB.

I have a feeling Hurst is going to be there in the 3rd round I think when it comes to skill #1 (availability) teams get scared off by stuff like this.

I think we should go defense with at least one of the first two picks. I like Jackson or Oliver and there are a lot of other solid options on the DL. Good OL/WR options too but we need to get Eberflus some talent.

Trying to think of what the Browns and Giants will do...Giants could go pass rush/DL or OL, and the Browns could go just about anywhere.

That first half hour is gonna be a roller coaster for sure.

DL  Maurice Hurst

DL  Nathan Sleppard

DL  Harrison Phillips

LB  Lorenzo Carter

LB  Uchenna Nwosu

Imagine if the Colts had 6 of the 35 picks.

Colts need to chill out on LB until later...get a CB, RB, WR and one of Hurst/Landry if possible.

We dont need another RB right now we can pick on up either during the Preseason drops or next year. We need a DE and another Online how good is CB when the QB has all the time in the world to throw

if we are really doing trench work there should be some good OL available. If we had to go corner i'd rather take someone with some dog in them Dane Cruikshank he'd be a good fit opposite to Qunicy
