I did a few trade downs, since I see Ballard trading down a bit more to add even more draft picks to overhaul this roster...

 

 

*Trade - Ballard trades 6th overall pick to Chicago for their 8th overall, 2nd, 4th round picks. 

 

1 (8th overall via Chicago) - LB Roquan Smith

 

*Trade - Ballard trades his first 2nd round pick to Green Bay for their 2nd, 3rd round picks.

 

2 - (via the Jets trade) - WR DJ Moore

 

2 - (via Chicago trade) - CB Carlton Davis

 

2 - (via Green Bay trade) - DE/OLB Lorenzo Carter

 

2 - (via Jets trade) - OG/T Braden Smith

 

3 - RB Rashaad Penny

 

3 - (via Green Bay trade) - LB Darius Leonard

 

4 - OT Jamarco Jones

 

4 - (via Chicago trade) - DT PJ Hall

 

5 - WR DaeSean Hamilton

 

6 - LB Tegray Scales

 

7 - CB Darius Phillips

 

 

Analysis - Ballard ends up with 12 picks in this draft to address the roster with. Overall, I think this collection of players would address the needs on this team, and outside of Roquan Smith, who I think already will be a star, I think there are a handful of others on this list of players that could be pro bowl players as well.

That would be quite the haul. A question: why would the Bears make a trade like that for Nelson (assumimg that’s their target)? That’s a huge giveaway for a non QB.

I like the draft but I think your being optimistic about guys being there.  DJ Moore in particular.  Seems very likely he goes in the first.
