- Draft times for the remaining picks are down to 1 hour.

- If you don't feel that you will be able to check in often enough to be checking constantly, then please PM your picks in.

- The draft will now shift from given time slots to what happens in a natural drafts, with clocks starting immediately after the pick before is sent in.

- If you miss a pick and want to change players, that is allowable as long as said player hasn't been selected since the pick in question.

- If you miss a pick and the player you wanted has been taken, nothing can be done about it. If I don't receive a PM, I will assume that you have bowed out of the draft and nothing can be changed. If you do not wish to PM picks in, you must stay active consistently.

- Argumentative nature and rude debate is not tolerated. Strict measures will be enforced upon anyone who is witnessed doing so (Measures to be enforced include, but are not limited to: loss of picks, loss of drafting privileges for entirety of draft, and in severe cases, expulsion from all future Forum GM games. All players will receive one single warning before measures are taken, and warning shouldn't be taken lightly).

- Friendly chat and debate is allowed, but shall not escalate under any circumstances, else see point above.

- These rules are now set in stone, and there will be no bending or breaking of these rules, else see "Argumentative nature" point for punishments to be enforced.

The Green Bay Packers pick Mike White QB

Their back up QB sucked really bad last year and it might be time to groom the QB of the future.

I like this pick for them as far as position wise.  White needs a lot of grooming, reminds me a lot of Painter in some way.s

Mike White was my next pick for the Broncos tbh. I thought he might last til 106, and I couldn't pass on Jerome Baker. Had him ranked as a 2nd round pick in the end of the 3rd in my rankings. Had to go with my big board and BPA over the QB here with Keenum as well.

With the 103rd pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select

Kerryon Johnson, RB, Auburn

How was this guy still available?

Sources Tell Us

"Sometimes he plays with that Le'Veon Bell style where he glides until he sees it and then 'bang'. I thought he was a really competitive runner this year and he can play on all three downs so he has early value." -- NFC team regional scout

Would of taken him at 99, but already took Saquon Barkley at 5, so I didn't need him. Wouldn't of minded getting him with hindsight now and taking someone else at 5 lol.

Thankfully for anyone who enters that QB room next year, the bar for backup has been set rather low by Hundley's performances last year.

I was thinking the same thing. Nothing wrong with at least having some competition for the back up QB position. I just thought White fit in with Green Bay and their offensive coordinator.

Honestly, in my opinion, he's a 4th round guy at best.  I really don't like his skill set.  If he sees a regular role on 3rd down, it would be a miracle.  I hope we steer far clear of him unless he winds up in the 5th round where I think is where he should go.  Maybe part of thta is because I don't think he's a fit for our system, but I just don't see a lot of traits in him that make me think he'll be anything other than a guy who can bang out tough yards and not much else.  That's just my opinion though, as there are plenty here who side with you, I think.

Well, quit interfering with the Broncos plans! Elway doesn't like when his QB's of the future are tampered with by Crazy people!

Question for all participants:

Would you take a guy of questionable character in the top of the 4th Round? I like to steer clear of such folks but my team seems to like this guy (won't name :)). I would have taken him later but this is going only through this round.

Thanks.

I think I may know who you have in mind.

If your team has a pretty stern coordinator it might not be a bad pick at all.

Question for all participants:

Would you take a guy of questionable character in the top of the 4th Round? I like to steer clear of such folks but my team seems to like this guy (won't name :)). I would have taken him later but this is going only through this round.

Thanks.

That's about when I would start considering it.  Top of the 4th can be like a late 3rd rounder, but if you're close, which you are, and the pick is a hit, you might get that one guy that helps put you over the top.  It's a matter of preference and risk.  Depends on how much I like the guy, too.  But in the top 3 rounds, I usually try to steer clear.

I have a pick at 106, so go with who you want. I don't want to influence your decision with a biased answer.

Wanted to update the draft table so people know who to notify when they make their pick.  Also, I wouldn't mind taking this as far as we can go - if all are interested.  With 1 hour timelines and people continually checking back, seems to me that we can make it through all 7 rounds if there's interest.

Thanks guys. I was going to go with a safe pick. There are a few OL that I thought of taking but I will go with what I think my head coach would want. He has dealt with the likes of Pacman Jones and that crazy Burfict guy. This guy can't be worse. So, without further ado, with the 104th pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select

Holton Hill, CB, Texas

Reports are that the Vikes have shown lots of interest in him.

@CR91 you're next.

Good pick, that's a guy I was after. Didn't want to deter you from him in a fun mock though.

That is exactly who I was thinking of. I may regret not taking him with the 101st pick.

He was in play for my last pick in the 3d round. Good one.. .as long as his off-the-field issues check out.

Thanks for doing that, I ran out of time when I was putting this all together. I don't know how well doing all 7 rounds will work for some people, seeing how participants may get bored, but we can certainly see if there is interest.

Not only that but it may have effected trading when GMs had a full seven rounds to deal with.

That's good to know. You seem like you study players a lot. You and others here should work in player personnel/scouting departments.

I would be interested in continuing too. Thanks.

Dream job.  Knowing what I know now, I wish I had used my short stint as an IU football player to get in to player scouting.  Alas, I don't regret it either - you know, pesky little wife and kids that I can't seem to keep myself away from.
