2018 compensatory draft picks

 I wish I knew the formula they use to figure this out but some teams got a lot of draft choices for losing free agents. Nobody gets a '1' or a '2' but Dallas, Green Bay, Oakland and Cincy got four extra picks in the upcoming draft.

All 4 of Oakland's picks were in the 6th round.

The Bengals got a '3' and a '5' and two '7s'

Dallas and Green bay both got a '4'. two '5's and a '6'.

 

Houston and Denver got a '3'....which is a Top-100 pick.

..adding this to previous trades and Denver has two 3s, two 4s and two 5s

Colts got nothing. I guess we didn't lose any value free agents.

 

I admit a '5' and a '6'  doesn't sound like much but if you're looking for linemen or running backs or you want to take a chance on an injured player, arent these low round picks valuable?

If the Colts want to trade down with a team like Denver....the Broncos have a few lower round picks to wave at them
