Team Draft Power - Who Has The Power To Move

Recommended Posts

As we have seen in recent drafts, a lot of movement happens early in the draft.

The page below provides a visual for every teams selections, and it totals the value of each pick to create an overall Draft Power number for each team. It also totals how many picks each team has, and when each teams first pick is.

Houston and Kansas City are paying the price this year, for moving up last year. Neither team has a first round pick or any Draft Power.

A small look at the opportunity with NYJ given McDaniels as HC, and Richard as DC

Possible trade 3 for 6, 37 and 49 or 103:

6: Bradley Chubb DE

36: Kolton Miller OT

37: Rashaan Evans ILB

*49: Nick Chubb RB

67: Will Hernandez OG

100: JC Jackson CB

*103: Bo Scarbrough RB

Chubb/Anderson/Hankins/Sheard on the 4-3 DL

Evans/Bostic/FA (Whitehead?) as 4-3 OLBs

FA(Gaines?)/Melivn/Wilson/Jackson/Desir

Hooker/Gaethers/Farley as DBs

Costonzo/FA(Norwell?)/Kelly/Hernandez/Miller on the OL

Hilton/FA(Robinson?)/Moncrief or another FA/Rogers as WR core

Luck with FA(Lewis?)/Mack/Scarbrough/Micheal in the backfield

Not bad. I like this option, especially if Saqoun is off the board....

Our Defensive Coordinator is most likely to be Matt Eberflus, and not Kris Richard. Though you are right about it likely being a 4-3 next year.

Ya that came out about 5 minutes after I posted this ahah. Same time of idea though, but I think theres a higher chances it's a base 4-3 but hybrid with Eberflus

I'd be alright with trading with the Bills for their top 4 picks... The caveat being that we would also have to look for a deal to unload some of our late picks as there will be only so many roster spots for rookies...

5 picks in the first two rounds, plus the excess capital to move back up if need be and target players that Ballard really likes. I could see a multiple trade scenario giving Indy 3 picks in round 1 if the chips fall just right.

Interesting.. I'm not sure I'd like that idea because we've been picking (with little success) in the 20s for a while and getting a top 3 pick is a very rare opportunity but with that being said..

1 (21): Denzel Ward, CB

1 (22): Mike McGlinchey, OT

2 (36): Billy Price, OG/C

2 (53): Marcus Davenport, EDGE

2 (56): Sony Michel, RB

Would be pretty nice tbh..

AC/Norwell/Kelly/Price/McGlinchey would be amazing.
