I won't add over unders 'bets', but I'll add some tidbits to chew on before picking winners. These tidbits are QB related, as I feel QB play in the new NFL is reflective of that.  Even Bill Cowher has recently changed the slogan to something lijke Defense gets you to the playoffs, QB's get you to the Super Bowl.

Playoff Experience-

Brees   12 games       Keenum 0

Big Ben  20                Bortles 1

Brady     34                Mariota 1

Ryan       9                 Foles 1

Playing at Home (playoff record)

                  W     L

Brady        17  -  3

Big Ben       6  -  3     (14 INT's tho!)

Playing on the road (playoff record)

Brees       2  -  4

Ryan        0  -  2

Judging by this, the AFC South representation will soon end.  Brady and Rowethlisberger have experience and winning home records on their resume. I think Jags need the early lead and 3+ picks to win. Titans even more fortune.

The NFC is not clearly so defined.  The QB's with more experience have poor road records... so....

Does past performance mean anything in the present year?

Or is every season different and every year's team new?

To me, you are what your record says you are.

The post season is nothing like regular season.  And to me, experience and home vs. away records are telling. Time will be the judge.
