Does Chud not have Run/Pass Option plays in his playbook???  2nd & 2 & you try to force the run up the gut from a bunched formation. All while the corner is giving your receiver a 10 yard cushion...  Why not throw that out to Rogers & let him get the first?

More Brissett holding the ball too long

He just refuses to throw the ball. They would have been close enough to go for a first down at short yardage . Eventually after awhile it becomes clear why these guys are backups.

Nice blocking Farley

I feel like there is a good McFly or McLovin joke in there somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. :)

Here we go again when is somebody going to tell Jim irsay Jacoby Brissett is not a starting quarterback in the NFL. He was brought here to keep us afloat until Andrew got better everybody thought Andrew was going to be back by this time but with that set back, we don't know when he's going to return.

Right now if we stand a chance we need a starting quarterback in the NFL Colin Kaepernick is the best choice right now for one reasons, he has a chip on his shoulder to prove to all 32 teams that did not pick him up and that makes him dangerous.... I don't care about his kneeling and all that my father once said if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything I would bring him in quietly work him out I have a couple of close practices at bingo I think he will be a great addition to the Colts lineup.

I am starting to think the only reason teams pass on us is to get players who have never recorded an NFL catch, their first NFL reception.

There is no reason to ever really pass on us. Any team could just run the ball down our throats.

That is completely the opposite of reality.

Colts bring pressure and teams routinely complete passes.  They don't bring pressure and they get picked apart.  Painful.

It's simply watching a bad football team.

Sucks for us..

Less chance of a turnover if they run the ball every down. They would get the first down every time too. We couldn't stop 3 straight runs from getting 10 yards, even if a Lombardi was awarded for the accomplishment.

Good job defense holding them to 3.  Could have been worse.

There's still a ton of time. Don't worry, they'll let you down..

We can't even catch a break to get the right call when the ref has a perfect line of sight.

I don't doubt it. lol

I'm not too emotionally invested at this point.  I'm just observing things and hoping to be surprised by something positive.

Bengals don't seem to be world beaters. We could have a chance. Shape up boys!

Yeah Bengals are pretty bad, it's a winnable game most likely.

It's hard to take bad football to seriously.

    • Brissett will be better than last year.  Its surprising how everyone forgets he was running for his life every play.  Even Andrew struggled with that pressure... all QBs do.  Brissett will be much better with a year's experience under his belt and an OL that can protect him. other GMs know this and it WILL affect his value.  The way teams spend on unproven QBs, i can see a team or two offering a 2nd or 3rd.  Heck, the Jets gave up 3 to move up only 3 spots to land an unproven QB.  And they really didnt even know WHICH unproven QB they would get.  Some teams get desperate for a starting QB, as we have seen over and over. if we dont get the trade we want, use him until FA in  2 years. i think, under the circumstances (which were stacked against him), Brissett performed better than people give him credit for.
    • If I’m a GM I say one thing.. ‘Good lord no.’   He’s a garbage person.
    • Exactly about the Rockets,  Exactly about LeBron and a game 7 too.  I am not sure the Celtics want that, home or away.  They need to win this game.  I have a bad feeling if the Cavs win tonight easily that they'll win the next 2 after that too.  I guess we'll see.  Be nice to see Boston win tonight! I agree!
    • Well, he was not a 1st rounder, so there is no 5th year option.  We can have him this year, but next year is his last (@ $915,000.00) under contract.  He will want to test FA, and teams wont trade for him unless they fully beleive they can work out a contract.     We'd be lucky to get a 3rd rounder in the following (next) draft for him).  Garopolo was a 2nd rounder, and NE got a second rounder in the next year draft for him, and JG was showcased well and was a desired commodity.  Got paid. I'm not sure JB gets that kind of attention based upon last year.     It would be nice, but I think it is rainbow colored...  see JG example just  above.     I think this as well.  Trade likely won't happen if we demand too much.     I'd like that, but don't think it will happen unless he lights it up this year (which means Luck isn't playing, which would be bad as well).  Time will tell.
