I don't know if the team has collapsed for good. They have had shaky awful games like this before. Losses like that can sting and players could respond to it or they can give up. We've never been quite this bad in the Pags era so ... I don't see more than two games. So 12-4. Maybe Brisset comes out against the Bengals. He has yet to play a full game at a high level.

I think Pagano might just retire and go enjoy life. He'll have a winning record still at 53 and 44. Also, an AFC championship game appearance. Not the worst career ever.

Funny how those easy schedules in July aren't too easy come September.

I'd venture we catch 1 or 2 teams sleeping and somehow win.

5 wins would be my max if I had to pick.

the schedule is weak, the colts just suck

bottom 3 team in the league without luck

We have only beat the two teams that still havent won.  I think if they had a second chance at us, they would beat us.  I am thinking we might win one more when Luck returns.

Don’t think Luck will play if we lose next week.

I hope zero. At this point, the worst thing for the team in the long run is for us to win 5 more games, and in the process lose more players to significant injuries.

We need to get 2 TEs on the offensive line all the time, stop letting Brissett take hits, let Gore ascend to within the Top 5 career rush yards. No more injuries, get in position for some high draft picks, and start looking for coaches - not just a replacement, but someone who can energize the offense and get some discipline on defense.

I don’t think we win even with Luck coming back. He’d be rusty and he’d take a beating.

I thought he may, but after the setback and seeing Brissett get sacked 10 times it may not be a good idea.  I literally don't know what to think anymore........

Rest of the schedule predictions:

@ Bengals L

@ Texans L

vs. Steelers L

vs. Titans W

@ Jaguars L

@ Bills L

vs. Broncos L

@ Ravens W

vs. Texans L

I have the Colts going 4-12.

I can definitely see this.

Not that it matters, but if it didn't go like this, I could see W (bills) L (Baltimore).

I know. The Rams were so bad last year I did not expect then  to blow out the Colts as bad as they did, even with Luck inactive. The Jets game was supposed to be "easy" but the Jaguars lost there. You never know by the week.

Somehow they'll win 1 more game. 2 max and it'd be against the Bengals and Ravens. And I'm not even super confident they can beat those teams, but they don't have a chance against anyone else on the schedule. A blowout loss to a Jags team that didn't have Fournette. God help us

If the Colts are 3-10 and Luck is able to return the Colts are going to allow him to come back and play in meaningless games?

Possibly. . . it would probably be good to give him some games to get the rust off.

Also Coach P. is going to be coaching for his job and he's gonna want his QB in the game for that.

If we end up 2-10 (which I think we could) then coach Pagano will be watching these games at home just like us.

I doubt he survives the season. I will be surprised if Pagano is still the head coach by December. If we lose the next 5 games then we will be 2-10 to close out November.

As much as many don't think it will happen; all the signs are pointing to Pagano getting fired in-season.

Irsay doesn't have a history of in-season firings.  Quite frankly I don't see the point in them myself.

Jim irsay has never fired a coach mid season
