How many more wins will we get?

Recommended Posts

I’ll say 0 to 2 games if Luck doesn’t play. Every team we play is at .500 or better besides the Bengals. Looks like a top 5 pick and a new staff on the bright side.

1 or 2. We'll probably randomly win a game we shouldn't win. I'd say the #4 pick at best, top 10 at worst.

I don't know if the team has collapsed for good. They have had shaky awful games like this before. Losses like that can sting and players could respond to it or they can give up. We've never been quite this bad in the Pags era so ... I don't see more than two games. So 12-4. Maybe Brisset comes out against the Bengals. He has yet to play a full game at a high level.

I think Pagano might just retire and go enjoy life. He'll have a winning record still at 53 and 44. Also, an AFC championship game appearance. Not the worst career ever.

Funny how those easy schedules in July aren't too easy come September.

I'd venture we catch 1 or 2 teams sleeping and somehow win.

5 wins would be my max if I had to pick.

We have only beat the two teams that still havent won.  I think if they had a second chance at us, they would beat us.  I am thinking we might win one more when Luck returns.

Don’t think Luck will play if we lose next week.

When we lose next week. No mystery involved here.

I don’t think we win even with Luck coming back. He’d be rusty and he’d take a beating.

I hope zero. At this point, the worst thing for the team in the long run is for us to win 5 more games, and in the process lose more players to significant injuries.

We need to get 2 TEs on the offensive line all the time, stop letting Brissett take hits, let Gore ascend to within the Top 5 career rush yards. No more injuries, get in position for some high draft picks, and start looking for coaches - not just a replacement, but someone who can energize the offense and get some discipline on defense.

If you would have asked a couple of weeks ago, I would have thought 6 would be a really good number playing without Luck, but after today, seriously don't know if we will get to 3. We are going backwards so fast, we may end up with 1

Maybe they could win the Ravens game but it's in Baltimore and the Colts have yet to win a game on the road.  They could win anywhere from 0 - 2 more games the rest of the way.   Feels like 3-13 or 4-12 at best.

I thought he may, but after the setback and seeing Brissett get sacked 10 times it may not be a good idea.  I literally don't know what to think anymore........

Without Luck (it’s time to shut him down) I think we will possibly sneak out another win.

I think we’re drafting 3rd in the 2018 Draft.

Cleveland

San Francisco

Indianapolis

We can trade that pick and have a great draft.

I can definitely see this.

Not that it matters, but if it didn't go like this, I could see W (bills) L (Baltimore).

I know. The Rams were so bad last year I did not expect then  to blow out the Colts as bad as they did, even with Luck inactive. The Jets game was supposed to be "easy" but the Jaguars lost there. You never know by the week.

A better question might be how many more games can fans stomach enough to watch.

If the Colts are 3-10 and Luck is able to return the Colts are going to allow him to come back and play in meaningless games?

If we were to somehow come out and completely upset Pittsburgh, I would be happy losing for the rest of the season.

Somehow they'll win 1 more game. 2 max and it'd be against the Bengals and Ravens. And I'm not even super confident they can beat those teams, but they don't have a chance against anyone else on the schedule. A blowout loss to a Jags team that didn't have Fournette. God help us

Possibly. . . it would probably be good to give him some games to get the rust off.

Also Coach P. is going to be coaching for his job and he's gonna want his QB in the game for that.

If we end up 2-10 (which I think we could) then coach Pagano will be watching these games at home just like us.

I doubt he survives the season. I will be surprised if Pagano is still the head coach by December. If we lose the next 5 games then we will be 2-10 to close out November.

As much as many don't think it will happen; all the signs are pointing to Pagano getting fired in-season.

Irsay doesn't have a history of in-season firings.  Quite frankly I don't see the point in them myself.

Jim irsay has never fired a coach mid season

I understand Irsay's history - WELL!

I don't believe Pagano will make it through this season.

    • Well that was unprovoked..... lol
    • JMV would've been all over this and he has never said anything about this. Luck had 1 last month and that is the only time I have heard he had 1.
    • I would not say he was a high draft pick.  He was picked towards the end of the 4th round.
    • Are you sure?  How do you know the pain killing injections were not cortisone?  I've been to pain doctors for my hips, cortisone was the only thing offered.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will miss his ninth game of the season when he sits out Sunday's contest against the Titans because of his unhealed lacerated kidney. But now we're learning more about the degree to which Luck was hurt during his first injury-related absence earlier this season. According to an NFL source, Luck sustained torn cartilage on two of his ribs and was still coping with significant pain after returning to the lineup for four games in late October and early November. The injury likely affected Luck's performance after he returned from a two-game absence that the Colts attributed to a shoulder injury. Luck, according to the source, needed pain-killing injections to play and was quite limited by the injury.

    • The #5 overall pick last year was worth 1700 points. If we were to drop to #16 overall, that pick is worth 1000 points. This leaves 700 points worth of draft.   Round 2 16th pick (#48 overall) is worth 420 points   Leaving 280 points.   Could probably pick up their 3rd round pick as well, or a player. The 80th spot (Round 3, 16th pick) is worth 190 points.   So, moving from the top to the mid "should" generate 2 extra draft spots in the ideal areas to address the line.   This would mean the Colts would have
      R1: 16 overall
      R2: 37, 48
R3: 69, 80 Plus whatever supplemental picks and normal picks
