Thanks for the update.  I had no idea Brissett was on the report. Must be minor though.  I am curious about the Titans injury report.  Lewan is likely out Sunday but I think Mariota will play, I am curious what there injury report says.

Doesn’t bother me one bit who is out Sunday. I am only concerned about Monday night. :)

Sorry. Couldn’t resist. :D

We going to need him since moncrief is invisible

Yeah, I could see him getting more touches and Aiken has been invisible also.  That being said they both aren't targeted much.  Now whether it's the scheme, QB, WRs or a combination of everything, I'm not sure.

Marcus Mariota (hamstring) was "limited" in Thursday's practice.

Per coach Mike Mularkey, Mariota "did more (Thursday)," and called his progress "positive." He still stopped well short of proclaiming his quarterback ready for Monday's game against the Colts, and said he will need to see "more than he has seen" for Mariota to return. Mariota appears to be truly 50-50 for Week 6.

Thy don't create separation really..I think rogers favors hilton as a wr just not as polished it fast but he catches in traffic and gets open a lot I think brissett will enjoy it

From titansonline, posted this afternoon:

"Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota practiced again on Thursday, but Titans head coach Mike Mularkey wants to see him do more before he declares him ready for Monday night’s game against the Colts."

They say he was limited today, so at this point it's maybe yes, maybe no.

You know, Moncrief actually played well last game. Our QB isn't looking for him much. You have to always take into account that Brissett is still learning the playbook. He has his favorites, and Moncrief ain't one of em. At least, not yet. Moncrief can still be a force out there. Needs some touches. When Luck returns, my prediction is that Moncrief will show up as well. Let's wait to judge him until the Colts return to some normalcy.

If we can get luck geathers and swoope back could get interesting

I don't want to seem greedy but let's add Good or Jackson to that list. We could really use both of them. Good would really help the OL and Jackson the ILB group. I think I'd prefer those two. I like Swoope we just haven't struggled at TE like we have the other two spots.

I'd be happy just to see 2 come off the IR. What was Jackson's injury? I don't think I ever heard. Has there been any word on who may be ready to go?

This is going to be huge for this game, makes it such a swing in our favour if he is out.  I don't think he has been lighting the world on fire this year so far but their play without him last week was awful.

IMO, he plays, 70% chance Titans win, he doesn't, 70% chance we win.  Based on my exhaustive work in my NFL science laboratory. :sip:

A limited Mariota may hurt the Titans more than him just sitting out.  Watching the Panthers last night, once Cam got hurt on that goal line dive, he was shot.  You could just see it in his movement and motions out there.

    • I can too. And that will tell us everything we need to know about how the view him. It will tell us their feelings on the tight end room, and what direction they pick from there will tell us even more.    but if they take him at 15, we won’t know much about what might have happened, as they will be landing someone they had rated highly and fell to them.
    • Glad that’s over…    if I wanted to argue about it, I would have responded far more in depth than pointing out how you were attempting to gaslight me. I did not. Meaning I was ending my part of whatever the argument was. You “putting a finality to it” and then listing bullet points tells me it was the argument you wanted all along, which makes sense why you brought Grigson up in the first place. Bait, hook, gaslight. Almost got me buddy. You are a funny guy, Doug
    • Putting a finality on an argument you want to have.   There is a theory that Ballard won't draft a OL high because ARs injuries were not caused by a poor oline.  I felt it important to note that since Luck's major injuries were also not caused by his oline, Ballard could still want to improve it like he did in 2018 simply because AR is The Franchise. And its important to point that out because there has been a running (false) narrative for about 9 years that Luck's oline was the (main) reason for his injuries that kept him out of games.  The (false) narrative is based upon, IMO, a detest of Grigson, and not reality about the facts (or strong rumors) behind the kidney laceration and snowboarding shoulder. Therefore, mentioning Grigson and the (false) narrative was germain to the point about Ballard possibly drafting Oline high this draft to protect AR. Mentioning Grigson shouldn't trigger a CB vs RG discussion, unless people reading it are gaslighted by their own reading lens.
    • That is a very inaccurate description of what happened.  At this point it’s history and doesn’t need to be revisited but I will say Chloe adds value to this board and should be and is by most encouraged to post, even if people don’t always agree with her.
    • My response was in regards to another posted suggesting that the Colts need to get the pick right when it comes to picking a WR. I agree with you .
