that is impossible.  That is completely against the NFL rules.  Only option is Active Roster or IR.  Period.  At least look up the rules before spuing nonsense.

Also, if you'll notice, Brissett threw about as hard as Luck did.  More than likely, because the guy he was throwing to was also only ten yards away.

the one flaw in your theory is that I would think Scott Tolzien would at least know that PUP is not an option once the regular season starts.  otherwise it would have been a very difficult theory to disprove lol

Good gosh. He's been throwing for 8 weeks now. I would put big money without hesitation on him being able to throw 50+ yarders easily already .... if he wanted to. If he couldn't, he'd still pull ropes somewhere deep inside the facility. Alone...

 

This is about getting game ready, not being able to throw the ball 10+ yards...
