Colts @ Seahawks Sunday Night Football Game Thread

Recommended Posts

Hi, Colts Nation!  :)  Our Indianapolis Colts are in the Pacific Northwest region of the USA to play the Seatlle Seahawks, in an interdivisional prime time game with an NFC West opponent for NBC's Sunday Night Football.  Both Indianapolis and Seattle are meeting in the twelfth all-time regular season game tonight, with the Colts leading 7 games to 4. A win would also even the Colts record at 2-2.

Colts are playing the Seahawks in Seattle in a regular season game  for the first time in 12 years.  Colts though, also  seek to win their first regular season road game in 17 years.   Indianapolis last won at Seattle 37-24 back on October 15, 2000.

Seahawks unfortunately defeated our Colts in their last visit to Seattle score of 28-13   back on December 24, 2005.

Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Michele Tafoya, for NBC Sports, seen internationally over-the-air on WTHR NBC Channel 13, and online in your personnel devices, beginning with the pregame show at 7:30PM Eastern Standard Time,  live on HD.

Partly cloudy skies at 64 degrees with 15% precipitation, 66% humidity, and north/northwestern winds at 7 miles per hour, is the game forecast inside CenturyLink Field, for the 8:30PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff.

Colts and Seahawks players and team support staff may voluntarily wear NFL authorized pink apparel both on the playing field and in the sidelines during tonight's SUNF game, to support Breat Cancer Awareness Month during October.

NO injuries,  upset Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in Seattle, stay Colts Strong, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!

This season has been weird so far. Rams are good, SF and the Jets are better than expected, the Bills are leading the East etc. Hope we can shock people today.

Thanks, LOS.  Is that a type-o?  Haha.  I hope it's not that cold already.

Got to get the running game going early tonight, boys and girls.  Let's get this win and knot up the AFC South.  The door of opportunity is open for us!

Go Colts!  All day, every day.  :1colts:

Why is Quan still returning. He is starting to constantly hamper the offense with his terrible decisions. We can't have 90 yds to go vs. the seahawks and expect to win

This is going to be tough tonight especially with Bond just going down... it'll probably be a blowout but it's pretty justified.

    • Brissett will be better than last year.  Its surprising how everyone forgets he was running for his life every play.  Even Andrew struggled with that pressure... all QBs do.  Brissett will be much better with a year's experience under his belt and an OL that can protect him. other GMs know this and it WILL affect his value.  The way teams spend on unproven QBs, i can see a team or two offering a 2nd or 3rd.  Heck, the Jets gave up 3 to move up only 3 spots to land an unproven QB.  And they really didnt even know WHICH unproven QB they would get.  Some teams get desperate for a starting QB, as we have seen over and over. if we dont get the trade we want, use him until FA in  2 years. i think, under the circumstances (which were stacked against him), Brissett performed better than people give him credit for.
    • If I’m a GM I say one thing.. ‘Good lord no.’   He’s a garbage person.
    • Exactly about the Rockets,  Exactly about LeBron and a game 7 too.  I am not sure the Celtics want that, home or away.  They need to win this game.  I have a bad feeling if the Cavs win tonight easily that they'll win the next 2 after that too.  I guess we'll see.  Be nice to see Boston win tonight! I agree!
    • Well, he was not a 1st rounder, so there is no 5th year option.  We can have him this year, but next year is his last (@ $915,000.00) under contract.  He will want to test FA, and teams wont trade for him unless they fully beleive they can work out a contract.     We'd be lucky to get a 3rd rounder in the following (next) draft for him).  Garopolo was a 2nd rounder, and NE got a second rounder in the next year draft for him, and JG was showcased well and was a desired commodity.  Got paid. I'm not sure JB gets that kind of attention based upon last year.     It would be nice, but I think it is rainbow colored...  see JG example just  above.     I think this as well.  Trade likely won't happen if we demand too much.     I'd like that, but don't think it will happen unless he lights it up this year (which means Luck isn't playing, which would be bad as well).  Time will tell.
