Not surprised by Morrison, he was Physical last year at the end of the season when things slowed down for him some!! Looking forward to the pre season!

You can insert this but it's truly something that has to be considered during contract negotiations and if the team wants to take on the risk vs cap space. I sure hope he plays all 19 games this season and plays at a high level, not just out there trying to cover an injury so he can get paid.

Vontae has been a beast. Andrew is our engine and we need him, if he doesn't play on opening day - not good. I don't like our backup QB's, at least with Hass we knew he was still good.

At some point we are going to have to acknowledge that there is at least a little a little bit of truth to that, especially since we're so quick to slap other players with that label. He basically missed half the season last year, and does seem to constantly be dealing with some type of nagging injury.

You betcha, pending on if Moncrief is out for a few practices or more, Dorset will definitely need to try and shine.  Chester hasn't 100% solidified the 3rd most likely.  It's so early.

Of course, as great as that run was, its hard not to notice that he's carrying that football like a cheap loaf of bread. Which is why he wasn't drafted higher. His reputation as a fumbler hurt him.  He will have to get away from his natural instinct to hold the ball out there in no man's land when he's putting on a move or stiff arming someone. 

I'm not saying this to dump on the kid's talent. He has it in buckets. But its all for naught if he doesn't learn to protect the ball. Time will tell.

Same football...I don't see it.  I don't like to see any of our backs run like that, but he was deep into the secondary.

 

It looks like he shifts back down to 3rd gear at the 40 yard line and starts to pick up breakaway speed.  The first guy always seems to miss in open space with him carrying the rock.  That was a pretty amazing run.

I hope he is better than advertised as he was one of the two people we drafted that was on my board. The other was hooker. Still amazed he fell to us.

With a better Dline this year, Morrison should have more time to get to the runner and lay the wood.  Previous years, we would have needed Urlacher to be effective,
