I often wonder why people who compile information like this seldom ask questions like what players, excluding all QBs, sell the most jerseys say from a WR or RB position? QBs get way too much notoriety in jersey sales. I'd like to see breakdowns by position personally. Heck, what pass rusher sells the most jerseys right now?

So brady has sold more in NY then the Giants Jets and Bills all combined? I doubt that and he sure as hell don't sell the most here in Indiana I guarantee that. I'm almost certain he wouldn't lead in Texas either. This is just a bunch of crap.

My take on this is that the sample time was after the SB and TB12 almost certainly had higher sales than any of the players in the game and likely more sales than players watching on television.  Those sales may have been to Patriots fans around the country, but there were not likely a lot of other selling going on.

Just to clarify...

 

The majority of the jerseys purchased outside of New England, much like Patriots hoodies, were purchased for the sole purpose of being burned in a drunken ceremony in someones' backyard.  I'm sure sales in Georgia were astronomical.
