Edited... Conley out, Foster in  Also adjusted second round pick

These things are such a shot in the dark, but here goes...

Round 1 #15

a) Derek Barnett, OLB, Tennessee (guy gets the job done, would like to see a productive, strong, guy with pass rush skills other than bull rush (Werner) to fill our main pass rusher role.)

b) Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama

c) Jarrad Davis, ILB, Florida (if we trade down, he would be a great pick up)

Round 2 #46

a) Cordera Tankersley, CB, Clemson (tall productive corner, used to play man)

b) Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt (smart, productive, knows his lanes, made the plays, which would be a welcome improvement over our recent past ILB’s)

Round 3 #80

a) Derek Rivers, OLB, Youngstown State (lots of sacks, great athlete, moves fast. Reminds a little of Mathis, productive small school guy)

b) Marlon Mack, RB, South Florida (this is one guy I would really like to see on our team. Watched several of his games in last couple of years. Guy can scoot and has those cut and go skills that we have missed out of our RB’s)

Round 4

Pick #122

a) Juilen Davenport, OT, Bucknell (swing tackle, probably able to play all G & T positions in a pinch)

b) John Johnson, S, Boston College (Can also play a little CB, not sold on Green as our future starting safety just yet.)

Pick  #137

a) Shaquill Griffin, CB, Central Florida (from my alma mater, don’t know if he is day one ready starter, but the guy can flat out play. Fast, man-to-man cover guy, doesn’t mind sticking his pads in there for tackles.)

b) Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB, Tennessee (know he is coming off injury, but love watching SEC football and just liked the way he plays. Always around the ball and can cover. A 4th rounder for what may be a starting ILB is a good risk to me)

Pick  #144

a) T.J. Logan, RB, North Carolina (would be a great complement to Gore, change of pace, third down back, plus good returner)

b) Avery Gennesy, OT/G, TEXAS A&M (played T, scouts say he can play G as well)

Round 5 #158

a) Xavier Woods, S, Louisiana Tech  (lots of INT’s PBU’s on his stat sheet)

b) Ben Gedeon, ILB, Michigan (big body for the middle, 2 down guy)

Free Agents

CB Cole Luke, Notre Dame

S Casey DeAndrade, New Hampshire

OL John Flynn, Montana State

OK! So at the end of Round 1, we all get big fat zeros!

:thmdown::scorebad::facepalm:

Who would have thought that Hooker would fall in our laps?

:rock::headspin::applause::thmup:

And all of us who picked Foster and Reddick ... yikes.

That thing about Foster's shoulder being worse than it was, yeah that was not shared with the fans until tonight. And with Arians being an ex-coach for the Temple Owls we all should have guessed that Reddick would not get past Arizona.

Let's see if any of us do better tomorrow.

Good night Colts fans! :sleepy:

I picked Derek Barnett to replace Conley, so my excuse is going to be that dang coin toss we lost for the 14th pick. lol Just kidding I like the Hooker pick. Never would've guessed him falling that far. Thank you to all the teams reaching for QBs.

To be honest, I've been preaching it all draft season since I kind of got the feeling he avoided medicals on purpose.

I ruled out ILB once Foster's drug test came out and how Reddick was the only quality ILB in the top 15 thus making it less likely for us. I fell for the Forrest Lamp hype, I did not see Hooker dropping at all, no way. I had Derek Barnett at my first possibility, just wasn't meant to be. :(

ThorstenDenmark and BlueStallion got Tarell Basham :)

BlueStallion had him in the 4th round :) So im in top 3 in Dr.T Contest ;)

Tonight's the night we're gonna make it happen
Tonight we'll put all other things aside
Give in this time and show me some affection
We're goin' for those pleasures in the night

I want to love you, feel you
Wrap myself around you
I want to squeeze you, please you
I just can't get enough
And if you move real slow, I'll let it go

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I want you

We shouldn't even think about tomorrow
Sweet memories will last a long, long time
We'll have a good time, baby, don't you worry
And if we're still playin' around, boy, that's just fine
But Im gonna win it ;)

Yeah congrats to whomever won.  In my first foray in this thing I did better than zero, which is what I figured I'd get.  I ended up getting my Round 2 'B' selection in Wilson and I picked Walker, Jr.as my 'A' pick in the 4th round.  So if I read the rules right I get 3 points for Wilson and 2 points for Walker, Jr. for a total of 5 points, which is a heckuva lot better than zero.  I think I did alright!

WOW!  I cannot believe it.  I'm speechless.  I figured somebody would hit 3 or 4 picks at least.  Man, is this thing hard!  But it is quite fun.  It was a very close contest.  One for the little guys!

Thanks for doing this Dr. T.  I will plan on attempting to defend the title next year.

I'd like to go ahead and submit my picks now... I'm feeling pretty confident that we will get Malik Hooker in the first, Quincy Wilson in the second, Tarell Basham in the third, Zach Banner, Marlon Mack, and Grover Stewart in the fourth, and Nate Hairston and Anthony Walker Jr in the fifth. I wonder how I did?!?! :peek:
