Chris Baker - Fills the NT position

Kevin Zeitler - Gives Andy an elite G

Dont'a Hightower - Becomes the leader of the defense

 

R1: Haason Reddick OLB/ILB - Fantastic pass rusher and could play inside

R2: TJ Watt OLB/DE - Pass rush is key

R3: Kevin King CB - Fills our CB need

R4: Joe Mixon RB - 3rd best RB in the draft

R4: Jake Butt TE - Bye Dwayne, Hello Jake

R4: Corn Elder CB - Gives us CB depth and can start if Robinson flops

R5: Josh Reynolds WR - Underappreciated, under the radar, and underrated, could be the 3rd/4th WR

After his pro day, there's no way Mixon is going to be available the third day of the draft.  Would not surprise me if he's taken in the second round.

I'm one of the people who would not be upset if we took him, even in the second.  But I can understand those who don't want him on the team.

At this point I'd be surprised if Watt makes it to us.  I could see him going as early as 29 to Green Bay.

 

Pass on Hightower.  Too expensive and injury prone.

Great. Really nice. I don't really disagree with anything you've done. I might go with Jordan Willis over TJ Watt but that just a personal preference thing. I would be over the moon if we came away with this.

 

At this point with Mixon I wouldn't be surprised if he was there in the 4th or if he gets taken in the mid 2nd. His stock depends so much on individual valuations of his character.

Dude blitzed the combine. Has pretty good tape and has positional flexibility. If I'm honest I don't have 100% confidence he'll even be there at #15. But if he is, he's a great pick.

You won't get Bowser or any of the other decent EDGEs in the late 4th. Best you might get is Ejuan Price probably. I'd take Jake over Price personally.

not a bad draft but giving lack of free agency movements am still sticking with my draft board now modified with loosing our 6th round pick and gaining a 4th...

 

R1: RILB Reuben Foster – much better upgrade over Akeem Ayers

R2: RCB Chidobe Awuze – a physical corner with skills and an excellent blitzer.

R3: LILB Alex Anzalone – Antonio Morrison played well but need more depth at LILB

R4: ROLB Vince Biegel – glaring weakness for us at ROLB with Robert Mathis retiring and Trent Cole slowing down.

R4: RT Will Holden- Joe Reitz sudden retirement we need a new RT

R4:  LOLB Matt Milano – need someone to replace Erik Walden

R5:  ROLB Javancy Jones – 2017 is the draft year of the linebackers
