Ravens Matt Elam arrested on drug charges

I don't know anything about this guy except that he is young and his 5ht year option was declined. I assume he isn't worth a look... especially after the drugs?

He was a highly rated prospect coming into the league, in what was a pretty talented safety class (Elam, Reid, Cyprien, Vaccaro).

Didnt show much in the NFL, and was pretty much their 3rd string safety by 2016. 

 

He was MAYBE a good dark horse candidate to bring in on a cheap vet min contract with the hopes of a reclamation project, but after the drug charges his chances are slim to none.
