Adam Gase had Julius Thomas in Denver.....big numbers...makes some sense for Miami

Probably a good deal for both teams. Albert is looking to be a cap casualty, and Thomas has been underwhelming in Jax. Both would be going to situations where they will be better utilized. \

 

Very interested to see what else will be included in the deal if it goes through.

Fins need TE but Thomas looks cooked. I think FA would offer better options but at least they could move on from Thomas quickly if he doesn't work out.

......what I keep remembering about Julius is that he didn't grow up a football player.

He may not have that life long drive to keep playing as he ages and banks the big bucks.

 

But Gase did create an offense ( I know there was an old guy who helped him create it) where Thomas was wide open a lot
