A lot of maneuvering with 2 trade-backs in the 1st, but picked up a 2nd and a 3rd along the way. I'd be ecstatic if we could pull off anything remotely similar.

Sometimes I'll try to stay as realistic as possible with them and sometimes I just try to see what kind of craziness it'll let me get away with. I do like the fact that it uses value in trading picks and won't let you do any lopsided trades though.

The draft allows for 3 total trade downs...so I had learned to trade pick #15 for 16+picks, pick 16 for 17+ picks, etc. :)

That's the true crazy and lopsided nature. :):):)

1-32 - Jarrad Davis (ILB)

2-46 - Derek Rivers (OLB)

3-76 - Ahkello Witherspoon (CB)

3-80 - Quincy Wilson (CB)

3-96 - Tyus Bowser (OLB)

4-122 - Sidney Jones (CB)

4-123 - Nico Siragusa (G)

4-124 - Kareem Hunt (RB)

4-137 - Jarron Jones (DE)

4-144 - Chad Wheeler (OT)

5-158 - Kenny Golloday (WR)

7-235 - Charles Walker (DE/DT)

Something's definitely wrong if Thomas falls to 15.  He should go at 2. Williams won't last past Friday, probably not past the 2nd round.

Some of these simulator programs are really sketchy.   That one I posted right before you was ridiculous too.

I have WAY too much time on my hands and have done way too many mocks on Draftwired

Trades:

(25, 57) from HOU for (15)

(31, 95) from ATL for (25)

(59, 180) from KC for (57)

Picks:

Rd 1 Pk 31 - Jarrad Davis (ILB) Florida (Starting WILL)

Rd 2 Pk 46 - Joe Mixon (RB) Oklahoma (STUD RB)

Rd 2 Pk 59 - Fabian Moreau (CB) UCLA (Starting CB2)

Rd 3 Pk 80 - Tyus Bowser (OLB 3/4) Houston (Great addition to OLB rotation)

Rd 3 Pk 95 - Jake Butt (TE) Michigan (Stud TE that won't play immediately due to injuries)

Rd 4 Pk 121 - Isaac Asiata (G) Utah (Potentially starting RG, at the very least good depth/competition)

Rd 4 Pk 137 - Brendan Langley (CB) Lamar (Project CB that could develop into a really good press corner)

Rd 4 Pk 144 - Connor Harris (ILB) Lindenwood (Tackling machine)

Rd 5 Pk 158 - Stevie Tu'kolovatu (NT) Southern Cal (Potentially starting NT)

Rd 5 Pk 180 - Xavier Woods (SS) Louisiana Tech (Developmental safety that is a tad undersized, but plays bigger)

This is one of my favorite mock drafts to date. I would have liked a safety earlier, but I did mainly BPA with needs in mind and Jake Butt was way higher rated than any safety available and there was a steep drop-off after that.

I saw people having fun with this so I thought I'd give it a go.  I used the CBS Sports big board rankings and the Fan vote for team needs.  It came out as follows:

1) Reuben Foster - ILB

2) Charles Harris - Edge

3) Sidney Jones - CB

4a) Danny Isadora - G

4b) Wayne Gallman - RB

4c) Rayshawn Jenkins - S

5) Dede Westbrook - WR

Now, I am no draft expert, but I would think the chances of this happening in real life are pretty slim.  I won't say impossible, but not very good.  Still, it's fun to play and dream.

I will be more than happy if Foster lands at 15, I don't see Harris making out of the 1st round, and certainly not that low in the 2nd where we pick.  I could see Jones being there perhaps but my gut says some team is going to nab him by the end of the 2nd.  I felt fortunate to get a top 10 guard, top 10 RB, and top 10 safety all in the 4th.  And Westbrook was just too good to pass up in the 5th, although I was hoping there would be a T or another LB or CB I liked better.  But what is the old saying?  Best player available?  And he was by a wide margin there.

I felt I addressed a lot of needs but would like to have more at the CB and LB spots.  But with only so many picks......I would be EXTREMELY happy if something like this draft were to really happen though.

Did another one, used same options.  Don't like it quite as much as the first one, but still not too bad.

1) Derek Barnett, Edge

2) Forrest Lamp, OG

3) Sidney Jones, CB

4a) Marcus Maye, S

4b) Vince Biegel, Edge (although I think he projects as an OLB, which is why I drafted him)

4c) Jeremy McNichols, RB

5) Dede Westbrook, WR

Used the Fanspeak-Board with User-Voted Needs. Came up with a nice one ;) - Reddick should move to the inside, so all needs are covered except for OL maybe, but I don't think we necessarily have to have an offensive lineman - although Lamp was available at my second pick and I was tempted, pass rush needs to be upgraded, cannot expect all FA signings to work out.

I had a chance to take Charles Harris in the 3rd and elected Sidney Jones since I just didn't feel like drafting 3 EDGE players back to back.  Pretty good draft if I don't say so myself.

I was bored yesterday, sitting in a hospital waiting for my time with the doctor and came up with 4 different mock drafts.  I don't know how realistic they are, but these are the way they worked out.  The last mock I did the opposite of what is the popular opinion on this board (just to shake things up).  Tell me what you guys think.

               Mock A                      Mock B                       Mock C                     Mock D

R1P15  TE OJ Howard            RB L. Fournette          Edge D. Barnett       RB L. Fournette

R2P14  CB T. White                CB T. White                 RB D. Cook              RB J. Mixon

R3P16  CB A. Witherspoon    CB A. Witherspoon      LB T. Bowser           G D. Johnson

R4P14  Edge T. Hendrickson  C E. Pocic                   CB R. Douglas         Edge D. Smoot

R4P30  RB B. Hill                    S J. Evans                  CB J. Lewis              CB J. Myrick

R4P37  Edge J. Mathis            Edge T. Kpassagnon  S R. Jenkins            S R. Jenkins

R5P14  S M. Nicholson           Edge D. Hall               S M. Nicholson         G J. Morgan

Out of these mocks, I like Mock C the best, although D has some merits if only based on talent, not on team needs.  Rip it apart guys!

I don't mind it... I like Rivers. Getting Moreau and Hunt at those spots would be unreal. I'm not the biggest fan of Douglas though and would rather take a project edge rusher in the 5th than a WR.
