I did and found nothing.

i read it a while ago.  honestly, i didn't state he was dating her b4 you asked anyway.

My original post:

"Gruden won't accept a job with the Colts due to Grigson being the GM.

Peyton would have fired Grigson if made part owner.

Reggie Wayne hates Grigson.

but Irsay's daughters like Grigs so Jim keeps him around.  The horrible draft classes are besides the point.  How does Jim not see how much of a * everyone else thinks Grigson is?"

I stated his daughters like Grigs as a very small part of the post.  google that, grigs is thought to be pretty tight with them and Irsay.  that is besides the point.  quit majoring on the minor.  main point is:

Gruden won't accept a job with the Colts due to Grigson being the GM.

Peyton would have fired Grigson if made part owner.

Reggie Wayne hates Grigson.

If what is being reported is true, then Irsay is choosing Grigson over Gruden, Manning, and Wayne.  That is frustrating

Again, there is nothing to support that he is choosing Grigson over Manning and Gruden and Wayne hasn't even been approached for the job.

The Irsay's daughter angle is one of my least favorite things to read on this forum. It's remarkably insulting to all involved and isn't ever based in reality. If you think he needs to fire Grigson fine but to just blindly suggest that his daughters are influencing the decision is ridiculous.

the only evidence available shows he did try to hire gruden and manning and they didnt want to work with grigson.  Wayne would be an ideal candidate for the WR coach opening but has stated publicly to not think highly of grigson.

i stated many reasons why he shouldn't keep grigson.  he is keeping him.  i had to think of SOMETHING to support him keeping Grigson.  I have read he is close to Irsay's daughters who wanted to keep Grigson.  try to keep up

only colts fans stuck inside their Colts are perfect bubble can't admit that Irsay is an *.

If Joey Porter can be a LBer coach,  I have no doubt Reggie could be a wr coach.

Exactly Jvan & best of all, I highly doubt that Reggie would get arrested for drinking & disorderly conduct off the field either. Wayne is a superb teacher on the field & he will never humiliate a franchise off the field either.

I don't like Porter that much. The dude rubs me the wrong way. A solid player back in the day though. I can't deny that.

Yeah the moment that stuck out to me with Porter (besides the arrest for drinking and disorderly conduct) was when he went on the field during the playoff game against the Bengals. You're a LB Coach. You should be on the sideline and nothing else

He didnt coach him!!!!!

Some of you think that any former Colts player can be a coach....  Peyton as OC, Robert Mathis as LB coach...   Maybe we can get Edge as RB coach and Booger as the Oline coach....  AND they can do it for a home town discount  HAHAHA!!!!!!!!  DUMB!!!!!

I agree most players don't make good coaches but Wayne was huge in TY's development . Wayne use to talk on his radio show about late nights the pair spend together breaking down film routes and defenses . In fact TY still has Wayne on speed dial for football and life advice .

For me, whatever (Wayne) taught me, make sure I’m teaching everybody else, because it’s only right. Marvin did it with him. He did it for me. Now, I gotta pass on the torch.”

A quote from Hilton notice he talks about what he learned from Wayne not any coach he has had .

i see how you could think that.... but it also could be that Irsay tried to make coaching changes that fell through due to no one wanting to work with Grigs.  Irsay even sent Grigs and Pagano to counseling.  it didn't work.  he finally realized grigs is a * and fired him

So we can expect Gruden to be named coach of the Colts shortly?  Since the only roadblock when Irsay offered him the job last week was Grigson being GM.

    • I think most important option is missing in the poll : No One.   I think it's a fairly average QB class that it's okay to not like anybody enough to draft him. There's no one QB that Wows you with their pocket passing Caliber or pure athletic traits or good combination of both. It's like a tweener class of all those abilities, having lop-sided combination of above said skills.    And, this poll, rather than forcing to pick one QB, needed that extra option to express staying away from this QB class.

    • If one were to understand that all teams defend with zones in very similar ways, and know that Gus plays man about 30% of the time which is just on the lower side of middle of the pack, so what then is the issue with "Gus".  Ballard/Dodds!  We ARE near the bottom in speed, intellect, experience, Talent, with Gus's back seven. Gus is forced to play soft with dem bums.   Ballard/Dodds have killed us with their many misses drafting DE's, Rock-Ya.   This draft, this 53 man + roster should be pivotal, heavily scrutinized by Ownership.
    • I voted Williams because of his talent and if Chicago doesn't pick him and he becomes great, they will go down as the team that had the guy and blew it again. I honestly am not sold on Williams being great though. My dark horse best QB is Penix.   My bust pick is McCarthy. He is Mac Jones.
    • I do have recollection of it, read my posts above. I never Said you were wrong regarding what I posted but I never created a thread saying he was coming back. I am also sure it was before we signed Wentz when I said he was coming back - which you jumped all over. Time flies. I am not even sure why you started this nonsense? I got a head ache trying to find my old posts and posts I created to make sure I was sane.   Word of advice, you can take this how you want but quit starting stuff with people that is unnecessary. I say that as a friend because as a poster you are one of the best in here.   Calling me out is fine but over something I said 3 years ago is unexpected. I did say what you said but it wasn't last year.    I Need a drink and people wonder why I drink. I can't even come here and have fun to escape the real world. This place is a head ache.
