Cubs lose but I will take a split any day against a Very Good team like the Nats. Cubs still have the advantage. I never thought for 1 second we would win both in Washington, nobody did. It's all good. On to Chicago for 2.

They have to beat us in Chicago, good luck with that. They better win Game 3 because Jake is going in Game 4. Anyway like I said it was a greed day for me wanting 2-0 and with a lead in the 8th Inning it was possible but the Nats bats came alive, credit to them.

Not sure what is going on with the silly 8th Inning stuff but it has been going on all season. I will take 1-1 all day though with 2 in Chicago. If we win Game 3 it's over because the Nats aren't beating Jake in a close out game.

 Bullpen. Montgomery has flashed, as has Edwards, but really inconsistent.
