Your first 3 is mine too, I had Seahawks 4th though.

I used to hate the Seahawks too, mostly because of all the hype Wilson got when they won the SB. But now, I just can't hate him. He's proven he's not just a game manager, and is actually one of the best players on the league.

Plus I'm probably one of the few that doesn't hate Richard Sherman. He's a jerk yeah, but I just find his personality funny. He's also a pretty smart guy . And a former teammate of Luck at Stanford.

The only team I absolutely can't stand is the Pats and it's mostly because of their fanbase.  They make everything about them, regardless of the topic.  Go to ANY article written about the Colts on NFL.com for example and then scroll down to the comments and all you will see is Pats fans bringing up Deflategate, how the Colts hang "participation" banners, etc.  They are like cockroaches, you just can't get rid of them and they pop up everywhere!  Other than them there isn't really a team I "hate", just dislike some more than others such as the Steelers and Chargers for obvious reasons.

My 2nd favorite team would have to be the Packers because my relatives live in Green Bay and I have had the opportunity to go to "Football Heaven" many times.  It's a very small town feel and it is of course owned by the city which is cool and unique.  The stadium is literally smack-dab in the middle of a neighborhood.  If you haven't been to a game at Lambeau yet you really should try to go just for the nostalgia of it.  It's awesome and their fans are always well behaved even when I wear my Colts gear.  If it could be Colts-Pack in the Superbowl that would be awesome!

Patriots

Steelers (04 playoffs, blowouts in recent years.)

Chargers (08 playoffs, had our number until this year.)

Texans

Saints (09 super bowl and the game where they won 62-7 in 2011 without Peyton.)

I root for the Bengals and Packers because of relatives.

On every ESPN article about the Colts I see more Pats on them commenting than I do Colts fans as well and they say they are in our heads haha

I didn't realize this was ever even a question for Colts fans. PATRIOTS! And there's not even a close number 2. Yeah,  there's a couple other teams that I dislike like the Bengals and Chargers (ala Philip Rivers) but when I hear Colts and hate my mind automatically goes to Patriots without hesitation.

For me it has to be the Steelers by a large margin. 1995... 2005... ugh. Plus a large portion of my family roots for the Bengals.

Their disdain is on a whole 'nother level. I guess it has rubbed on me after all these years!

And I agree with Nadine on the Jets. All those playoff games ended by their hand. I wasn't even alive for the Namath debacle, and I'm mad about it haha.

Yeah that 41-0 game in the Playoffs back in 2002 stunk.

I should have had the Jets on my list, mainly for the '69 debacle (I despise Broadway Joe, even today).

They've been so hapless over the years, though every once in a while, they'll be good for a year, seemingly for the sole purpose of bumping us in the playoffs.

I didn't even factor that in when the Jets beat the Colts in the SB. That was Bad. Colts had some of the silliest Turnovers in that game and were so much better but still lost.

Patriot's Fans: "They hate us, 'cause they ain't us".

Now, it's catchy, and I'm sure it's fun to say, but it represents the entire 'trash talking' part of our society I despise.

And, 'no', I'm not painting with a broad brush. I know it's not all Patriot fans, or all fans in general (or all athletes for that matter), but the vocal minority tend to ruin it for all. "One bad apple" theory.

Its just as bad, if not worse, on ProFootballTalk. I rarely go there anymore it has gotten so bad. When the D'Qwell Jackson news broke, the Pats trolls were out on force screaming "Karma...this is what you get for Deflategate", etc. it's ridiculous and insufferable. One guy listed off all the bad things that had happened to anyone involved in the incident, including Chris Mortensen. The guy got cancer! That's pretty low. I called him out in the comments and it got deleted....Florio hates the Colts and lets all types of crap spewed towards us stay (Irsay is a pill addict, participation banners, pumped in crowd noise, karma for Deflategate, etc) yet when someone defends the Colts he shuts them down. He's a sniveling piece of crap IMO.

That is mainly why I can't stand the Pats. Their fans....including their media fans (Simmons, Shaunnesy, Florio). I begrudgingly respect Belichick for his football genius. He is a level above all current NFL coaches IMO.

Other teams I don't like:

Steelers, for obvious reasons

Seahawks, same as state above

Texans: They always think they've got us licked when in reality they have won the Divison 3 times in AFC South history. Wait, that's 2 times bc we didn't have Manning in 2011. Wait that is 1 legit time bc we didn't have Luck for most of 2015. Wait, that's never bc in 2012 Luck was a rookie.....lol. But still. Divisional foe.

Teams I like to see do well:

Lions: They've been so bad for so long....

Giants: bc they've beaten the Pats 2x in the SB, and Eli (Manning connection)

I used to hate NE during the Manning era, but  now I have nothing but respect; they're awesome. They are the cream of the crop every year.

I hate the Steelers

I hate Denever. Can't believe they won last year and I hate how peytons last game was with them.

The Texans are a joke.

Other than the Colts, I usually root for the Seahawks.

Mine will always be pats and steelers at the top. Pats because... well yeah. Steelers will be because when I first started getting into football was the year they beat us in the playoffs. The one where they fumbled at the goal line, Bob Sanders scoops it up, and gets chased down by Big Ben. I also moved to Seattle that year so seeing that super bowl left me with an even worse taste.

The one team that I will always see as our rivalry though is the titans. The years of our top ranked offense vs their defense stay in my head. I always view them as the division rivals. I have actually silently rooted for the jags and texans. They have the same feeling I used to have for the seahawks. They need to win a big one at some point, but once they do then I don't care about em anymore.

    • I knew I had a favorite last year, but I thought I would be good with whoever the Colts picked... and this was until the odds for the Colts picking Levis hit -4000 or something of the sort about half an hour before the draft and my heart completely dropped. In a way I'm happy the odds-makers completely missed on this one... it showed me how I really felt about those players and made me even more appreciative for us drafting Richardson an hour later.    So... you would be good with any of them... but who do you REALLY want?    On your question... if I had to guess, most Colts fans haven't watched this QB draft extensively. I know I haven't. So his statistical profile doesn't scream 1st rounder so... possibly why not many people really like him. Also keep in mind that this is compared to the other 3. 2 of them have been crowned as the next big thing for a while now and the third one won the Heismann with some exceptional performaces throughout the year.
    • My sleepers: (meaning, the kind of players coaches would like to have, more than what consensus big board gives credit to them. Some of them might need couple of years to attain their high potential, if drafted into suitable coaching environment, so a lot depends on that. Some of them have injury concerns too).   Most of them are high IQ players or high-effort, high-motor players - two traits I look for from the Drafted players, list is long but I like these guys.. gonna be interesting to see where they land and how it works out for them in long run.    Payton Wilson, LB, NC State Caelen Carson, CB, Wake Forest Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale Maason Smith, IDL, LSU Christian Mahogany, OG, Boston College Max Melton, CB, Rutgers Zak Zinter, OG, Michigan Bucky Irving, RB, Oregon Khyree Jackson, CB Oregon Dylan McMahon, C, NC State (good fit for Browns)  Tykee Smith, SAF, Georgia Ainias Smith, WR, Texas A&M Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame Michael Barrett, LB Michigan Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky Beaux Limmer, IOL, Arkansas   Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami McKinnley Jackson, IDL, Texas A&M Kalen King, CB, Penn State Justin Eboigbe, IDL, Alabama    Jacob Cowing, WR, Arizona Beau Brade, SAF, Maryland Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville Jalyx Hunt, EDGE, Houston Christian (I'm hoping for day 3 Vikings pickup, as Flores could work wonders with him)  Jaheim Bell, TE, Florida State Brennan Jackson, EDGE, Washington State  Delmar Glaze, OT, Maryland Myles Cole, EDGE, Texas Tech Kristian Boyd, DT, Northern Iowa Javontae Jean-Baptiste, DL, Notre Dame Jordan Magee, LB, Temple Myles Harden, CB, South Dakota Jalen Green, EDGE, James Madison (UDFA Target prospect)  Trey Taylor, S, Air Force (UDFA prospect) Eyabi Okie-Anoma, EDGE, Charlotte Qwan'tez Stiggers, CB, Toronto  Sundiata Anderson, EDGE, Grambling State  Daequan Hardy, CB, Penn State (Special Teams, Returner)  Emani Bailey, RB, TCU   As for Vikings, I don't wanna rush to draft QB if the team isn't confident in the guys they could move up in draft range, and I'd like to just draft impact players that build the roster at this point.   Build the team, draft a franchise QB at right time, don't rush and ruin years trying to make someone work out in the NFL.
    • If you are relying upon history, does accuracy matter?  I think the reason Smith ended up at RT is because the coaches tried him there out of necessity and he played well, and stayed there due to the coaches wishes.  I don't think that FO guys had much to say about it, because Smith was in fact drafted to be a G, not the RT.  Ballard's own words after day 2 of that draft was that they drafted Smith a bit higher than they had him ranked, because he was the "last remaining starting caliber G on the board".   So it does fit that Smith was not drafted by Ballard or the FO to be a RT...in part because of the measurables and arm length.   Also directing this response to @Matthew Gilbert
    • Same. And that's because over time that level of depth eventually decays.
    • I don't think players like Davis (and especially Bryan, who I don't think will make the final 53) should impact our draft strategy at all. Not even a little bit. If we like Byron Murphy, figure out what to do with those other guys later. The other versatile guys you mention don't scratch the itch the way Murphy would be expected to -- he should be looked at as a disruptive 3T who plays there every down, not a matchup guy or passing downs guy.    If anything, maybe it's the other way around. The Colts already had a feel for the DTs in draft class and knew they wouldn't get what they want in the draft, so they addressed the position in free agency. And after this weekend, that might help people better understand the strategy at DB and WR...    The bolded really gets at the heart of it. I like Murphy, but I'm not offering him as a great player that you just have to take a chance on. But when it comes to draft strategy, I think taking the best players is the way to go. I'm directly opposed to needs-based drafting, and to passing on a really good prospect because you have backup level veterans already on the roster.
