Linebackers 2017 draft

Who are some good linebackers the Colts can look at for next season? Think its safe to say we will be drafting probably an OLB or 2 and maybe a MLB.

Personal favourites -

ILB: Zach Cunningham, Reuben Foster, Jabrill Peppers(if you count him as ILB? also probably out of our range)...

OLB: Myles Garrett(probably out of our range), Derek Barnett, Charles Harris, Dawuane Smoot

Reuben Foster is my favorite of the bunch. I would take him 1st round. 

 

Ryan Anderson from Bama continues to impress. He's probably a 2nd rounder right now.

I think we should immediately go pass rushing OLB and then come back to ILB in round 2.  Round 3 there is some flexibility there.  Choose between another ILB, an OLB to set the edge or a CB2.  RB is also an option here as well.

 

We'll have cap space so we'll need to see what's available in FA.  It might be preferable to get a vet ILB in there, especially if we decide to get rid of DQ Jackson.  Would not be ideal to have 2 rookies starting next to each other.

I like Jaylen Reeves-Maybin. Has good coverage skills and can play in the box.

Cunningham or Davis at ILB if we trade back to the late first. Get Walker from fsu or Ryan Anderson in the second. If we have two picks in the second from trading back get both.

I'm a big Zach Cunningham fan. That would be fantastic!

I personally like Jarrad Davis, ILB out of Florida. A tad undersized at 6'2" 230 but he flies around the field and can knock people out. I've watched a few games of Cunningham out of Vandy, and haven't seen him flash as much, but those could have just been bad games.

After an LB in the first round (OLB or ILB), I think we should be open to drafting a quality CB or RB in round 2, IMO based on value.

I think a linebacker who is very good but is underrated is Ejaun Price OLB plays for PITT. I also like Anthony Walker JR ILB Northwestern

I'm watching Price right now vs VT. He's already generating a decent amount of pressure.

Tim Williams at Alabama has looked good, he has been fairly disruptive both last year and this year.

I like Tim Williams counterpart at Bama Ryan Anderson more. More well rounded and quite disruptive.

How about Harold Landry from BC? I liked him in the game I watched when he faced Clemson, and he's putting up really good stats this year. Anybody seen him play much?

They are both very good.  Williams, IMO, is the better pass rusher, I think Anderson has more tackles for loss.
